Warmth Lake Haven — Hotel in Kerala

I recently had the misfortune of booking a stay at the so-called "Warmth Lake Haven" for a family get-together which happened last December 2023. We have booked 6 Rooms by spending around INR 40K overall," and I should say that the experience was so horrendous. From the moment we arrived, the experience was a series of disappointments that left me questioning the very concept of customer service. The room was a disaster, and it was marred by an astonishing lack of cleanliness and an overall disregard for basic housekeeping standards. Regarding the bathroom facility, we encountered the shockingly unclean state of the toilet in our assigned rooms, as the condition of the facilities was not only unsanitary but also a stark violation of basic expectations for a resort of any standard. It took an unexpected turn for the worse when we discovered the alarming state of the water supplied to the bathroom in our rooms. The yellowish tint and overall lack of cleanliness left us with a bitter taste and a lasting impression of discomfort. The abrupt loss of electricity not only disrupted the overall atmosphere but also left guests stranded in the literal and metaphorical dark. Don't expect any wonders for food at the restaurant, it was an equally terrible experience for the whole members.

In conclusion, my stay at "Warmth Lake Haven" was a complete disaster. It was a place that lacked the most basic standards of hospitality and cleanliness. I would strongly advise anyone considering a stay at this so-called "resort" to think twice and explore other options. Resort is beautiful and the rooms with real lake view is gr8 to see as u wake up. We enjoyed watching the sunset fro the room & the resort in general.

However, more than positives, I'm afraid the negatives are more!

The route to the location is very scary, especially during nights, as the path to reach the resort from the main road is very rough and hardly 1 vehicle can pass, at least they should inform abt it beforehand, so that PPL will come before d sunset, literally we had to knock d neighbouring houses to understand if d resort is der as there was no lights or boards that indicated about the resort.

The staff is very ignorant and nobody understands English so it becomes even more difficult to communicate. We went with family for year end celebration which unfortunately was spoiled by heavy rainfall, but the sad part is that d resort staff didn't even care abt any guest as we struggled to carry my son back to d room while it rained, even after that there was no communication from d management instead the whole staff was drunk nd celebrated amongst themselves. Even d next day there was no new year wishes, none. Never thot in a place like Kerala whose hospitality is world-class but here the staff were least bothered.

I still want to mention a good word about the manager Jinoy was helpful at times & Chriswin, d Sowbhagya who were communicating well with us.

Food was pathetic particularly for us, vegetarians. Overall, the resort has a lot of potential, but the management certainly needs to better...

We stayed at the lake view cottage and it was an awesome experience,view from the balcony is priceless.one can have to sit there and sipping a cup of tea while watching all the houseboats passes by.

They have 3 sorts of accomodation available Lake view cottage Heritage cottage Tree house.

My suggestion is lake view cottage,and for couples Tree house can also be opted.

All the staffs were very courteous and they are willing to help us at any point of time without any hesitation.Specially mention Manisha stephan for the wonderful support and guidance. Evening sunset cruise was there in the package,but the duration is around 15mins only.

Fishing rods will be provided for those who want to explore fishing.

Peddle boat services and kids play area were also there.

Thing which disappointed us is the pool,which is under maintainence during the course of our visit.

Thanks for Robince and all the crew for the suprise cake and made our anniversary a memorable one.

Only problem is with the bumpy,muddy and narrow approach road(approx 1km) to the resort,it was damaged completely due to the recent rains.They are providing boat service if someone feels uncomfortable.

Overall a nice experience,So i strongly recommend this place with family or friends to spent a day to have a serene,calm and tranquil atmosphere,to get unplugged with the daily hectic schedules and be...
