Lovely way to stay in Nubra valley, with a clear view of mountains and right next to all the sand dunes & camel-ride activities in Hunder. The cottages feel luxurious. They have an attached bathroom, are spacious, well furnished, clean, comfortable. They even had a television with subscription to various OTT platforms like Jio & Netflix. The staff was friendly, and went above & beyond to make us feel welcome. They speedily responded to any requests we had. We were even provided a welcome packet of snacks in the room, and given garlands when we left. Stayed for 2 nights in July 2023.

Stayed at this hotel recently and had a very pleasant experience. The tent accommodation was comfortable and well-maintained, giving a unique stay experience. Beautiful flowers all around the property added a refreshing touch and created a calm, scenic atmosphere. The staff was courteous and attentive, ensuring smooth services throughout our stay. Food was decent, with a fair variety and good taste, though there’s scope for more options. Overall, a cozy place with good hospitality and lovely surroundings — worth a visit.

While it is a comfortable stay indeed...but leaves you longing for so much more.. the rooms are great.. amenities on point.. the upkeep of the place definitely needs attention.. for a new place.. there is so much that could be done with creating the right experience for the price they charge. Food was ok, but missed the soul / character of the place .. ended with a blah!

Before booking any property I have a habit of going through many Google reviews on that hotel. So before booking I checked the review of this Chalet Seabuckthorn. But just after entering here we both suddenly fell from the sky. There is no display board in front of the hotel. Our Google map showed it's the hotel. Then our chauffeur, Namgiyal asked the shop owner opposite of the hotel. Then we entered the hotel, it looked like an abandoned property. Namgiyal bullied the horn as badly as I told him. Still no one came out. Then Namgiyal entered the premises to call the personnel. Two boys came out looking as if they were being punished. But a big dog came out and started sniffing. After entering the reception informed us we get electricity only from 5:30 pm to 12 pm. This is not declared on their website. Only two young boys running the hotel with the help of a chef who also visited as per need. One boy Rishov, was like a manager who didn't know the value of only one bottle of mineral water He had no menu card. This hotel has no water purifier, no bread toaster, no sandwich maker. We entered here with too much hunger and asked for a chicken sandwich. But they couldn't be supplied because they had no chicken in their storage. Then we wanted simple bread butter and masala omelette. They served bread toasted in the oven and no spot of butter was in it and cold masala omelette. Tea was too good. Mr. K. Li described this resort as" Beautiful resort set in an oasis surrounded by snow capped mountains. Each room is an individual cabin with a private bathroom, sitting area and very comfortable bed." Sorry to accept his comments. It's not a room it's just a tent. A hotel's room means an attached bath with fully decorated rooms. So the 1st half line is.normal. But the 2nd half, private sitting isn't true. The hotel supplied two chairs so winky if you sit and move its reverses. Cot also too winky. A wooden luggage stand with hanger holder kept their Rishav frightened to keep our suitcase Then I.asked " how do I use my luggage if you lay it on the floor? I'm elderly lady!" Then he kept it. Our Aristocrat heavy bag lay on the floor. Except these a little round tables were in the room. There was a drinking water bottle, a mini tray with two.glasses, We never found any personal sitting areas. The hotel has no telephone, so we had to call Rishov by my personal mobile. We stayed there for two nights. But no room cleaning, even no one cleaned the table after we took food. We couldn't take a bath there for the intense cold of Huder. They never supplied hot water for personal use. Always told to open the tap some time before use then get hot water. But we have no intention to waste the water so we never did it. On the first day we got hot and tasty foods and they served the tea in a flask. But from the second day another two families checked in the property and quality and quantity decreased significantly. But another person joined with Rishov and Bablu. After all these back drops another thing if I didn't mention it then the real story is not told. Room charges are more than any Five Star hotel and they took all room rent we have to pay in advance. I realized the cause of this behavior that no one can leave the hotel. In conclusion I have to declare one thing for the public never believe on the reviews of any company's sight. Always try to search in Google's reviews. Otherwise you also...

I am writing to formally complain about the disappointing experience during my recent stay at your resort. Despite choosing your property for a relaxing stay, several serious issues severely impacted the quality of my visit.

Firstly, there was no warm water available in the mornings, i tried for an hour to get but they dont provide making it very uncomfortable to use the facilities. Additionally, only three staff members were managing the entire resort, resulting in slow and inadequate service. You foget to call them on phone because they never pick the call you have to go the reception and find any one to address the complain .The breakfast provided was poor in quality, with breads kept in plastic bags, which was unappetizing and unhygienic. Moreover, the water supplied was dirty, raising health concerns. The advertised scenic views were nonexistent, which was misleading. Throughout my stay, there was no manager present to address issues, and when queried, staff mentioned that the owner lives abroad, further complicating accountability.

These problems demonstrate a clear lack of proper maintenance and management, falling far below the standard one expects from a 4-star establishment like yours. (Please keep in mind that I paid around 8k for one night which I felt was exorbitantly high for the kind of hospitality I received) I request that you acknowledge these failures and take immediate corrective action. I also seek suitable compensation for being misled by your claims while making the booking and having to experience a sub standard and mentally harassing stay at...

We were traveling as a family started from Spiti valley to Ladakh. Actually myself and my daughter have Indian ids and my wife is an American national with OCI. After finishing our excellent trip from Spiti, we came to Ladakh and we were told that we need a permit to visit Nubra valley.|We were just shocked after hearing that permit can be done easily for me and for my daughter but for my wife, it was almost impossible to get a permit even on the next day.|The hotel asks to pay in advance and they don't hesitate to call so many times . They never informed us that we may have our permits before visiting Nubra valley. We had our little baby with us and now we just lost where to go. We started to call reception team and they gave us number of a gentleman but there was no help to gain a permit.|Finally we stayed in a local hotel because our flight was scheduled after two days. We were already paid and never got a chance to visit this place. A very different experience what we...
