Fantastic Stay at Martsemik Hotel, Ladakh • A big highlight of our stay was the owner of the property incredibly sweet, kind, and down-to-earth. Her warm hospitality set the tone for our entire experience. • The rooms were extremely spacious, airy, and well-furnished a rare find in high-altitude regions. • Cleanliness was top-notch rooms, linens, and bathrooms were all very well maintained. • The staff was exceptional polite, attentive, and genuinely cared about our comfort. • Food was absolutely delicious every meal was fresh, hot, and felt like home-cooked comfort. • The location is peaceful, with beautiful views, yet well-connected to nearby attractions. • Hot water and room heaters were available, which made the stay even more comfortable in the cold weather. • The overall atmosphere was calm, cozy, and welcoming perfect for relaxing and soaking in Ladakh’s beauty.

I recently stayed at Hotel Martsemik during my Leh trip and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is located about 2 km from the main Leh market, offering a peaceful environment away from the usual bustle, yet still conveniently accessible.

We opted for a triple sharing room, and it was surprisingly spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The bathroom was also clean which added to the comfort of our stay.

The food was tasty and thoughtfully prepared, with a noticeable emphasis on nutrition by the chef — a great touch, especially in high-altitude areas where diet matters.

A special mention goes to Mr. Omi and Mr. Ifti, who were extremely courteous and always ready to assist. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, which really added to the positive vibe of our trip.
