Mountain Palace Kargil — Hotel in Ladakh

Located on a non-descript hill road, this was an accidental find. It is an absolutely budget hotel. One can bargain the rent. There is a parking space within the premises. There is no restaurant attached. One has to go to the market area for food. Nothing is given complementary. A bath towel was given only on asking. There's a bed for two, a small TV, a teapoy with two chairs but no closet. Toilet has hot water geyser although the water was barely hot and the pressure in tap was feeble. Rent is preferred in cash but if insisted then they will accept online payment made to their bank account by NEFT; not by scanning any QR or VPA code. Location is good. 2 mins walking distance to the main road market area where you find groceries, stationary, eateries, taxi.

Rooms provided were in our budget. We liked the room . It was big and spacious enough the accomodate 2 adults . It had city view 🪟 which was amazing . Washrooms were neat and clean.

They do not have a restaurant and you have to rely on your own for food. We stayed here for just 1 night and managed . This place is most suitable for bachelors and couples.

We were disturbed late night for around 3 hrs as there was some renovation work going on the above floor and it was very irritating we could not sleep the half night neither...
