Flame of the Forest — Hotel in Madhya Pradesh

We were a group of 15 adults & 1 infant. They provided us 8 cottages in a row. Our overall stay was really great. They have a huge swimming pool with few other activities like rappelling & rock climbing. They also organise a night trek to nearby farms where we spotted hyena. At night, they organise bonfire (weather dependent) & DJ/music which was a great addition. Lake view is really nice, rooms are basic but clean. Only issue we faced was lack of towels & toiletries, which is something they should work on!||Food here was really great! They had a dessert, ice cream, 2 curries, dal, rice & choice of salads & roti both the times. High tea & breakfast were good as well with enough options. Tea/Coffee/Milk was free flowing & they never denied us with that or charged anything extra. ||Staff is courteous, they'll go through any limit to make your stay comfortable. They would call & remind you to take meals, or go on night trek, etc. A big should out to "RAHUL YADAV" in the staff, he helped us with everything.||Will definitely visit again. Highly...

Overpriced and in-competent staff! The location was nice but the last 4-5 km there is no road (it’s doable in dry weather but may be an issue in rainy season). The property and the amenities (activities and Swiming pool) are not that well maintained but the rooms are spacious and clean. The food tasted alright but they charged extra Rs.300/ meal extra for non-veg in which they provided single curry based dish that too insufficient (we ordered chicken for 4 of us in which they provided just one chicken), Rs. 1200 for one chicken!!! Your money is better off in some 5 star. Don't opt For this option! At last the staff was slow, did not get any thing in one go, and they added numerous items in our final bill which we dint ordered (Later rectified but, after quite a bit of argument) which reflects staff incompetence. Overall the experience was ok but when you are spending Rs. 4100 pp or Rs. 8200/ room ( including non-veg option) (all other ordered items cost extra) you simply expect...

I have been here twice but this time it was a pathetic experience. We booked a nature safari for the night. At 7.00am they were looking to fix the headlights. Then we drove to nearest village to get the break oil, then we drove to other side of the village to fuel. It was allready 9pm. After all this we decided to cancel and come back. The music system has 🎤 but it doesn’t work. Swimming pool is not clean. We ordered full chicken by paying extra for dinner. We finished half in dinner and we asked to keep the half in fridge so that we can eat tomorrow. Next day the manager (Rajkumar) says there was nothing left. The Manager (Rajkumar) is very rude and talks like he is giving everything free of cost to customers. I gave all the feedback to him while leaving but he was not concerned at all. It’s very nice property and I like it very much but rude behaviour with tourists can spoil its beauty and tourist will have no option to go for another resort...
