I just love this place. First of all, it is really beautiful itself apart from the fact that it is situated in Omkareshwar. It has a huge garden in front of the rooms. Also has a swimming pool and a recreation room. My friends and I stayed here for one night and it was a chilly winter night but the place was lit in the night as well, with people eating or just sitting and listening to songs in the garden with small bone fires. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel and the food was good. And since we had to leave real early in the morning, we asked for tea at 6 in the morning and we were provided with that. If you reach this hotel coming from Punasa you will have to contact the hotel to reach here as you will have to cross the dam and you need permission to do that. So I suggest people to reach this hotel from the other side of the city. To visit the temple from here you have to walk down through the village to reach the bank of Narmada river and from there you have to book a boat. Make sure you have enough cash on you as you can’t make an online payment. We got on the boat to visit the temple and then went around the island to see the Triveni Sangam and do the Parikrama (revolution) of the temple and then back to the bank. I really liked the stay at this hotel and I am really looking forward to staying here again with my family.

We Surely Loved it ! I am not posting 5 ⭐ because of following reasons 1.They don't serve nonveg and alcohol which you might expect in a resort. 2. Nothing is available near by as it is exactly in jungle, in case you need cash and madical assistant, you are very far from them. 3. Only working network is Jio and Airtel and they don't provide fee wifi unless you need to pay them as they don't have card machines. 4. Although you will feel that you are in walking distance to Omkareshwar, it's a big myth, the road on the dam is private and we can't use it unless a special permission is acquired. Good things : 1. It's very economical compared to facilitate you get. 2. Indore outdoor sports alonng with garden activity is available. 3. Pool is open till 11pm. 4. Their roon are cleaned and staff is very friendly in any requests. 5. Their resturant is decent and offer a good menu, but they should improve on test. 6. Connecting road to resort will give you absolutely stunning sceneric view in rains/cold.

Stayed here for a night. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone 1. During covid times none Of the staff members/receptionist/house keeping were wearing masks or gloves. 2. Even after requesting 3 times to get the TV fixed no one fixed it. The guy at the reception Yash not even once said that they will look into it. He just ignored the requests. 3. While checking out we wanted to take a quick shower but there was no water supply. Even after calling to the reception no one came to the room to check if water is available or not. 4. In a room of 4 pax only 2 towels were provided with no shampoo or body wash. All the bottles were of hand moisturiser. 5. Had 2 A/c’s in the big room out of which one had a water leakage issue.. all the water was dripping in the room making it messy. Property is nice and has decent lawn. If they can work on there behaviour and housekeeping can be good for them.

A Disappointing Experience at Narmada Hills Resort, Omkareshwar

I recently booked a stay at Narmada Hills Resort in Omkareshwar through the Makemytrip platform, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The resort, which claimed to offer premium rooms and a convenient location near Omkareshwar, fell short on multiple fronts, leaving me dissatisfied with my overall stay.

Firstly, the so-called "premium" rooms were anything but premium. The accommodations lacked the expected level of comfort and quality that one would associate with a premium booking. The rooms were uninviting and failed to meet the standards promised during the booking process. This discrepancy between expectation and reality set the tone for an underwhelming stay.

Secondly, the resort's misleading claim of being located in Omkareshwar was a major disappointment. Contrary to their advertising, the resort was situated more than 30 kilometers away from the actual Omkareshwar. To make matters worse, the journey to reach the resort involved navigating a peculiar and challenging road through dense jungle terrain. The slow and bumpy ride, with a speed limit of 20 to 25 kmph, not only added to the inconvenience but also raised concerns about the resort's transparency in its marketing.

The most distressing aspect of my stay was the morning breakfast experience. I expected a diverse and wholesome breakfast spread, especially since I had booked premium rooms. However, the reality was starkly different. The breakfast offerings were limited to dry Poha and Poori Bhaji, a far cry from the usual 12 to 15 options commonly provided in hotels across India. The absence of essential items such as South Indian and North Indian cuisine, bread and butter, tea/coffee, fresh fruit cuts, and fruit juice was a glaring oversight.

To add insult to injury, the quality of service was abysmal. The staff served tea in cups reminiscent of roadside stalls, and when I raised the concern, they dismissively claimed that better cups were only provided upon customer demand. This lackadaisical attitude towards basic customer satisfaction was disheartening.

Attempts to address these issues with the management proved futile, as we were repeatedly denied the opportunity to meet with the manager. The unresponsiveness and unwillingness to engage with guests only exacerbated the frustration, leaving us feeling neglected and unheard.

In conclusion, my stay at Narmada Hills Resort in Omkareshwar was nothing short of a disappointment. From misleading claims about the room quality and location to the subpar breakfast offerings and unresponsive staff, the overall experience fell far below the expectations set by the booking platform. I would caution future travelers to carefully consider their options and thoroughly research before choosing this resort, as my stay was marred by a series of disappointments that significantly impacted the...
