Aathavan Resort — Hotel in Maharashtra

Aathavan Resort... located conveniently on the highway between Mumbai & Alibagh is a good place for a satifying home style meal. My friends had been raving about the food here so one night we drove from Zirad, Raigadh District.This was our dinner very recently on my first visit to Aathavan. The restaurant is not too big, but its charming and sits in an open green space with ample parking for vehicles along a small water body. The young entrepreneur / owner Tanmay himself cooks the food assisted by his mother... so you can imagine... the food is cooked home style & very delicious. The fried prawns & fried chicken starters were awesome! For the main course we had a delicious Aagri style Sukha Mutton and a prawn curry with onions with soft freshly made Bhakri. I recommend this restaurant as a MUST...

We randomly went there without much information. And we landed at the perfect place. It has a live kitchen and beautiful wooden tents to dine. Area is large enough to play indoor games. Washroom is clean and hygiene. Coming straight to food, it was too good. Every dish was freshly made and beautifully presented. The spices and tastes were added according to our suggestions.
