Disastrous vacation we had... couldn't stay here for more than a day... don't ever go there guys... We had booked a room there through Travvel Holik well in advance since it was a long weekend...we were promised that there would be a restaurant at this place and will be able to serve authentic konkan food... specially fish... We reached lunch time on 29th and checked in room number 203 of the heritage section...whatever reason that was named like tht...it is nothing more than a glorified lodge...common balcony where you can hear everything when someone walks past the room...so no privacy at all...we went in the restaurant and there were fish and chicken thali that were available at the resort restaurant...both were just abt ok but exorbitantly priced...400/- for chicken and 500/- for fish thali...i mean c'mon man...we get cheaper thalis out here in Pune which are much better... After coming back from lunch we checked the tea and coffee kettle...and lo behold...a small cockroach came out...which we killed...foto added here...the tea bags too seemed to be old n stinky so got everything replaced... We tried to rest and there was a power cut (which is a little common in these areas so no big deal) but the generator was switched On only after i called the manager/owner...he didn't knw abt the power cut...wow...nice... Dinner time...we came back from the beach around 7ish and asked what was available at the restaurant...the answer was.. nothing...not very direct but we got the idea...we were told there is a restaurant nearby from where we can order and they will get it to the room... options were...chinese and mughlai...i mean we go to konkan to eat their style fish curries man...agar chinese hee khana hai toh Pune mei hee kha lengey...we ordered Veg burnt garlic rice and chicken chilly gravy...we got chicken fried rice and the gravy...again no bothering on what is ordered by the customer...we went in the bathroom to wash hands and lo behold... another huge cockroach...foto provided again here...seems like we were hired for pest control or something... However the food we ate...wifey got a stomach bug...so i don't need to say anything more... Sleep time... multiple power cuts throughout the night and as usual the generator was switched on after 10-15 minutes...till then u r left to die in the heat...die customer die!!! Next morning...we were offered shifting to the cottage category...we denied...what's the use if we face the same issues in a different room...no good food...no rest.. Tried the breakfast...was just ok...which was the final nail in the coffin...we just checked out and came home... Had paid in full for 2 nights...Travvel Holik...from where we booked didn't seem to be interested in refunding any amount...and we had told him anyways...keep the money...u lost not just 1 customer but many...

Aravi beach is nice and unexplored...but don't go there to stay nearby...just visit it from Diveagar and go back to Diveagar to stay...

Never ever stay in this beach resort near Aravi beach...

Hope the review...

Pros:

  1. Reception staff is very co-operative and polite in nature. They even suggested us to prepone our check-in as there is load-shading on Tuesdays.
  2. Couple of serving staff is co-operative in nature.
  3. Rooms are spacious.
  4. Toiletries were clean.
  5. Family friendly rooms.
  6. Alcohols free area.
  7. Free Wi-Fi & Parking
  8. Breakfast quality & quantity is good. Options available are like poha, upma, shira, omelet, bread jam/butter, pav bhaji, tea, coffee, milk etc.

Cons:

  1. 60% open land parcel is barn land, they could have planted more trees, bushes, flower plants etc. Especially near rooms.
  2. Food is very expensive.
  3. Quantity of food is very less as compared to the price paid.
  4. No nearby Shops/ATM/Pharmacy etc.
  5. Beach is ~1.7 kms away from the resort. You must have your vehicle to visit the beach.
  6. No roof / shading for the car parking, though there are skeleton/parking pillars. Surprising!!!
  7. Every Tuesday there is a mandatory load shading in the resort area.
  8. AC does not function as desired.
  9. DO NOT visit this place in summer or you may be in trouble due to lack of electricity.
  10. Diesel generator is available but ONLY in manual mode, it should get switched on automatically once power goes off.
  11. They have pets like goats, roasters, hens, dog nearby resort rooms. They make noises very often. Due to this resort area nearby pets smells bad.
  12. They have menu card but limited options are available.
  13. Waiting period after the order is comparatively more (min 45/50 mins) so plan your food order according to your hunger in advance.
  14. Food is not Malavani/konkani style though it is claimed to be. We are from konkan itself so confirming the same.
  15. Mosquitoes, ants, insects’ appearance is more post evening.
  16. Not suitable for elderly people, babies, children if travelling with a nuclear family.
  17. Fish size/quantity is not at all justified for the price paid.
  18. Village rooms & area looks better as compared to Cottage.

Suggestions:

  1. Plant more trees, bushes, flower plants etc. especially near rooms.
  2. There should be a privacy for each room and the lawn attached to it.
  3. People visit Konkan for sea food. Have variety of fishes. At least 5/6 types.
  4. There should not be pets like goat, cows, dogs, birds etc. in the resort area / nearby room due to hygiene issues.
  5. Keep small table to eat inside the room as there are 2 chairs already.
  6. Keep cloth drying stands for each room.
  7. Keep toaster for breakfast. It will save your time.
  8. Fish fry to be coated in rawa (semolina) instead of rice floor.
  9. Since customer pays high amount, fish size must be big (should be justified for...

I recently booked a stay with TravvelHolik Vacation Rentals for a beachside retreat at Aravi Beach, and I must say, it was an experience to remember. From start to finish, Travvelholik made sure every aspect of my trip was seamless and enjoyable Booking with Travvelholik was a breeze they helped me find the perfect accommodation within minutes. They offer a wide range of options to suit every budget and preference. Accommodation: The accommodation arranged by Travvelholik exceeded my expectations. The beachside rooms they recommended was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Customer Service: Travvelholik's customer service was top-notch. From the moment I made the booking to the end of my trip, their team was always available to assist me. They provided valuable information about the area, recommended activities, and ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Location: Aravi Beach is a hidden gem, and I'm grateful to Travvelholik for introducing me to this paradise. The beach was clean, the water was crystal clear, and the surrounding scenery was stunning. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Overall Experience: Thanks to Travvelholik, my beachside getaway at Aravi Beach was everything I had hoped for and more. They took care of all the details, allowing me to relax and enjoy every moment of my vacation. I highly recommend Travvelholik to anyone looking for a memorable travel experience. I'll definitely be booking with them again in the future. Only feedback :- shed for car parking should be made, since it's very hot at the location, no trees or shade to park your car. And the cars would get extremely hot each time we had to take them out..

- The location is very good. It's very close to the Aravi beach. - Food is very good, we tried the vegetarian options only. However, they don't have all the items available from their menu, if you need anything in the dessert, will have to inform them earlier. - They do offer complimentary breakfast. - Lots of greenery and open play areas with gym. - Variety of farm animals at the property which keeps children entertained. - Ample parking spaces. - Our Rooms were not cleaned properly especially the bathroom was very dirty, had to get it cleaned on request. - No basic toiletries in the bathroom ( brush, toothpaste, showergel etc) only towels. - Intercom was not working in either of the rooms. - The AC remote was not working. - Finding a switch for the wifi is a challenge in itself. - The swimming pool area and the pool were not cleaned regularly. Given the location lots of dead insects, moths, flies were floating in the pool. - The food is priced on the higher side compared to the market. Breakfast timings were - 7:30-10:30, they opened the breakfast around 8:30 and started to close at 10:00 , this happened on both days. People who came for breakfast at 10:00 did not have any options but to eat whatever was left, if any. One of the cases: The breakfast items were finished by 10:00am, when a couple of ladies requested for bread for their children they were denied stating the bread is not available. When they started to move to raise complaints to the main desk, they were called back and voila(magic) the staff pulled out a packet of bread from under the shelf. 😂 - Everyone was complaining for the quality of service against the money they charge for food and rooms.
