One of the most quaint places in Maharashtra, The place has these many perks (NOTE: ALL THE BELOW REVIEWS ARE MY GENUINE & HONEST ONES AND NO! IM NOT A CONTENT GUY FOR THE RESORT) -
The place is a gem in itself, because of the vicinity it is in- many mango trees in the property and very very silent and peaceful. The building may look old and dusty from outside - but its very clean and the rooms are also very neat, quite spacious and with all the amenities Mostly for family crowds, but nature lovers and horse riding enthusiasts will enjoy to the fullest, as well. FOOD- The food is just "AFLATOON" as my dad called it, made using the homegrown vegetables and with some amazing cooks it is quite a delicacy There's a small stream near the property where you can go and enjoy the evenings or mornings and even in summer it's comparatively pleasant around here. There are many small workshops for dance, yoga etc. & also LIVE Music Performances, all of which are genuinely awesome. The property is very pet friendly , you will find two dogs- SAM and MAYA who are very friendly with the guests and of course there are horses. Please do enjoy the horse rides in the property or outside(horse trail) & trust me, its an outstanding experience. There is a decent sized swimming pool to enjoy, especially, during the Summers and also electric cycle, pool table , carrom/chess, projector to watch movies. All of which are just WORTH IT! Mr. Shah (the owner) & Mr. Swapnil Sane(Caretaker) along with the attenders Dayanand & Vikram Singh - These guys are the true GEMS of the property, with optimum hospitality and fantastic humbleness , you will enjoy this place to the fullest with the help of these guys. Reaching here is also very economical and easy , by road it takes are 2 hrs from Mumbai and by train it is just 5 mins from Bhivpuri Road/Karjat station and you can get an Autorikshaw easily to reach this place.
Bottom line - Go here ! and I guarantee you won't regret a bit!!! (only if you love being in silence and peace without LOUD MUSIC and late night...
Read moreIf you're looking for an escape from city noise and a chance to connect with the majestic beauty of horses, look no further than Belmont Riding Club. My recent experience there was nothing short of magical, leaving me feeling refreshed, empowered, and with a newfound appreciation for these incredible animals.
The stables were impeccably maintained, and the horses looked healthy, well-cared for, and happy. It was immediately clear that the well-being of the animals was our top priority. But the real magic began when I mounted my horse. The staff are exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely passionate about sharing their love of horses. Their clear and encouraging instructions made me feel confident and comfortable, even though I hadn't been on a horse in years.
The ride itself was breathtaking. We traversed picturesque trails, winding through fields, past verdant trees, and alongside sparkling water bodies. The feeling of freedom and connection to nature was exhilarating. The instructors ensured our safety and comfort while allowing us to truly experience the joy of riding. They even pointed out local flora and fauna, adding an extra layer of enrichment to the experience.
Beyond the riding itself, the atmosphere at Belmont Riding Club is simply wonderful. Everyone is welcoming and friendly, creating a sense of community among riders. The instructors were always available to answer questions, offer tips, and share their passion for horses. It's clear that they genuinely care about creating a positive and memorable experience for everyone.
This is more than just a place to ride horses; it's an opportunity to connect with nature, challenge yourself, and experience the unique bond between humans and animals. Whether you're a seasoned equestrian or a complete beginner, I wholeheartedly recommend this incredible experience. It's a guaranteed way to create lasting memories and leave you feeling rejuvenated...
Read moreShah’s farm - beautiful stable (hypothetically the land of horses) + aesthetically fascinating rooms. I am grateful to visit this quaint place in September. The weather was pleasant, the sleep was relaxing, and the vibe was amicable. Overall, a must-visit stay.
The hospitality and the warm welcome from Swapnil and Sunil Ji, made us feel at home. They ensured that we had a comfortable stay. You may toss a lot of money on 4/5 star fancy villas, but what is rare is to feel at home at an affordable price. Every bit is meticulously planned and many, a WIP. Each person holds accountability and your needs will be taken care of. Take a stroll around, relish the meal, chill, take a ride, just relish and relax...
I guess every stay comes with pros and cons, and it’s always subjective depending from person to person.
Few things you can look forward to, here at Shah’s Farm are:
Calm rooms, cleanliness, in-room service, aesthetically designed rooms, mouth-watering food (3-course meal), beautiful view, friendly horses and doggos, horse riding with professionals, massage/stone therapy by Amit Ji (a second must), farm vegetation, friendly folks, gupshup over adrak chai and a lot more. Also, what you must do is walk a mile/take a horse ride and take a glimpse at the pleasant sound of the river. The sight is worth every second, I promise.
WiFi is accessible in and around the premises. Network might not be great or receptive in the upper rooms. Switch on your staycation/workcation mode. I suggest staying for a longer time and like me, you too will experience a...
