Quiet, calm, new and small resort - if you can call it that. Good for a weekend stay, but not more than that as it has just a swimming pool, a place to play to badminton and a small kids play area (a slide and two swings). There's not much else to do especially for kids. Hardly any open spaces too. The pool was quite clean, and has a baby pool section which is great for little kids. Water wasn't chlorinated I guess, so that's better for kids.

Our "cozy" cottage was a bit too compact for our comfort but it was the only one available. It's alright for a couple over a weekend but we were with a baby so space was constraint. We did not get a chance to check out the bigger rooms. Room cleaning is not their forte - dead insects lying around untouched in the rooms is a common sight.

Food was excellent, full marks for that. Service is a little slow. I would recommend the full meals package.

The location is in calm rural countryside with nothing much except villages nearby. Nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The road from the Shahpur exit (first exit if coming from Mumbai side) of the Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg / Mumbai-Nagpur Expressway to the resort is excellent - much better than the surface of the Expressway itself. Only a dual carriageway (1 in each direction) but very wide with shoulders and a flawless tar top even during the rains. Gentle curves and sparse traffic - you can easily drive at 80kmph. If you love driving, you will absolutely driving on this road. The last 1km stretch is a narrow rural road with potholes and cattle, but that's a given if you want to reach calm and...

My wife and I had a pleasant one-day getaway at Birds Nest, and overall, it was a refreshing experience. The location is nestled in a lush green pocket of nature, making it a serene escape from the city buzz. The service was friendly and efficient, and we enjoyed the food—it was flavorful and satisfying.

The cottages, although cozy and charming, felt a little small. A television in the room would have added an extra layer of comfort, though we managed fine with our phones and laptops. One notable inconvenience was that the geyser and intercom in our cottage weren’t functional during our stay. While the staff did attempt to fix them, the issue remained unresolved, which made internal communication a bit tricky.

The quietude of the surroundings was lovely, filled with the calming sounds of birds chirping and nesting. The machan was a highlight—we caught a beautiful sunset from there. I’d recommend bringing binoculars for birdwatching enthusiasts, as the area seems like a potential haven for spotting some interesting species.

Though we didn’t get a chance to explore the trail, it looked promising. There’s also a quaint village just outside the resort worth wandering through if time permits.

To sum up, it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay. With a few tweaks—especially addressing the basic amenities—the experience could easily go from great to...

I had an incredible stay at [BIRDS NEST RESORT]. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with an unexpected and heartwarming welcome, setting the tone for a truly memorable experience.

The view was absolutely breathtaking—whether it was sunrise, sunset, or just enjoying nature throughout the day, the scenery was stunning.

The food was delicious, with a variety of options to satisfy all tastes. Every meal was well-prepared, fresh, and flavorful.

The environment of the resort was peaceful and refreshing, perfect for relaxation. The surroundings were well-maintained, adding to the beauty and tranquility of the place.

The location was ideal, offering easy access to nearby attractions while still feeling like a private retreat.

The staff were incredibly warm, polite, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, this resort exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a...

Whenever You entered the resort you will feel like a King of this world, The menu from Breakfast to Dinner, from Juices to Snacks will be settled by you, what ever u want they will serve You with smiling faces, the Owner of the Resort is the one of its type person I haven't met any resort owner of his type . The Place is Damn Good and the way maintained it is awesome, you will feel the fragrance of Lots of Flowers in the resort, Full with lots of types Flowers, The best Part of this resort is the noiseless atmosphere. In Cottages you can feel the sounds of Birds, Wind and all the things which are very near to nature.

My experience at Birds Nest was a mix of positives and negatives. On the positive side, the quality and taste of the food were genuinely good, and the meals were definitely a highlight of the stay. However, several aspects were disappointing. The room did not have a water heater. The cleanliness was below expectations, and there were insects in the room, which made it uncomfortable. The lighting was poor, making the space feel dull and less inviting. Considering all these issues, I found Birds Nest to be overpriced for the overall experience offered. With some attention to basic hygiene, proper maintenance, and accurate communication of amenities, the overall experience could be much better.
