Blu Resort – A Scenic Escape in the Heart of Malshej Ghat
Our stay at Blu Resort in Malshej Ghat was a wonderful and refreshing experience. Surrounded by the majestic Sahyadri hills, the resort offers a breathtaking view that instantly puts you at ease. Whether it’s the golden sunrise or the peaceful sunset, the natural beauty all around makes it a perfect getaway from the city.
The rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. The bathroom was modern and tidy, equipped with a good shower, dental kits, and other essentials that added to our comfort. An added bonus was the mini fridge inside the room, which was quite convenient for storing drinks and snacks.
The room service was excellent—very prompt and professional, making us feel well taken care of throughout the stay.
The swimming pool is clean and well-maintained, with a separate kids’ pool, making it ideal for families. However, considering the resort’s growing popularity and the number of rooms, it would be great if the main pool size could be increased to avoid crowding during peak hours.
When it comes to food, Blu Resort truly delivers. Every meal was delicious, well-presented, and full of flavor—whether it was local cuisine or continental dishes, everything was top-notch.
The night view was absolutely magical. With clear skies and countless stars overhead, the peaceful nighttime ambiance made for a perfect end to each day. Just sitting under the stars with the cool breeze and soft lighting around the resort felt surreal.
The resort also provides EV charging, which is a thoughtful addition for electric vehicle users and adds to its modern, eco-friendly appeal.
A few suggestions for further improvement: • Indoor games or recreational activities would enhance the experience, especially for families and during rainy weather. • Given the pricing, adding a few more leisure amenities like a larger pool or a game zone would increase the overall value for guests.
In conclusion, Blu Resort is one of the best resorts in Malshej Ghat. With its stunning views, excellent service, and comfortable amenities, it’s perfect for couples, families, and nature lovers alike. A few enhancements could make it truly exceptional, but it already offers a memorable and relaxing stay. Highly...
Read moreBeautiful Place, But Worst Food and Service Experience
We recently visited this restaurant and while the place itself is genuinely beautiful with nice decor and scenic surroundings, the experience was unfortunately ruined by the terrible food and poor service.
We started off by ordering Handi Chicken and specifically asked the staff if it came with thick gravy. They confidently said yes. But when the dish arrived, the gravy was thin and watery — completely different from what we were promised. We had also ordered a starter, which arrived late and was served cold, as if it had been made hours ago and just forgotten.
One of my friends ordered a paneer dish, and the texture was shocking — it felt like rubber. We asked for a replacement, and although they did bring another plate, it was still just as bad in taste. As for the soup I had ordered — I couldn’t even bring myself to drink it. It was bland, poorly prepared, and honestly tasted like it came from a packet left out too long.
Now, coming to the service — we asked to speak with the manager, hoping for at least some kind of compensation or acknowledgment of our complaints. But not only was he completely uncooperative, his attitude was dismissive and careless. To make matters worse, his breath smelled awful — it made the entire conversation unbearable. We felt more uncomfortable speaking with him than we did eating the food.
For a place that looks so nice on the outside, the kitchen and staff seem to be running without any sense of quality or customer care. I truly believe food inspectors should take a close look at their ingredients, especially their paneer and meat quality.
In conclusion, this is not a place I would recommend. Go if you want good photos for Instagram — but if you’re hungry or expecting decent service, you’re better...
