Brownstone Resort — Hotel in Maharashtra

Such a horrible experience at this place. I am providing this review in very detail so that anyone decide to go there know below things. I have also attached photos.

Just watching one youtube video i decided to visit this place for my first wedding anniversary and believe me this place completely ruined it😔

This place is at very remote location and roads are not good to get to this place.

After reaching to this place we met a person(Chaudhari) at reception who seems to be very rude and unprofessional.

Rooms: Then we moved to our rooms.. Rooms were ok but it wasn’t giving any good vibe and as soon as we opened the fridge there were lots of cockroaches inside it. I straight away went to reception but that guy was not interested to listening us and he was simply saying that he will clean the fridge. I asked him give me another room as there were other rooms available and it just a matter of one night but instead he was interested to argue with us.

After talking with our tour company he agreed to move us into another room. Believe me this room was more horrible than first one. It was full of spiders and big insects. Really it was horrible and we thought to live this place asap but as it was very dark and risky to get out from there. So we decided to leave this place first thing in the morning once sun rises.

Service: There were only 3-4 guys are working..they seem nice and trying their best to serve their host but Don’t expect any professional service. For every single thing i had to call them to get towels, room keys, menu card and it was damn slow. And later I frustrated with them as well.

Food: I thought service is not good but at least let’s enjoy the food. We were walking our way to the restaurant in dark rain and that sweaty manager stopped us at reception and asked us to give dinner order by handing us menu card. I mean seriously he wants us to decide our menu at reception? As we moved to restaurant it again ruined our mood as it was very dirty and not clean at all. Even the guys who were working in the kitchen seems drunken to us(our driver confirmed it later as he had done dinner with them. He said those guys were high and drunked) We finished our dinner and left to room thinking in mind to leave this place as soon as possible but me and my wife both started vomiting at midnight due to that food. Seriously we fell sick and could not sleep whole night. (while returning to our place in morning also we almost vomitted 6-7 times)

Because of all this drama we left this place 6am in the morning without breakfast and without checkout(yes we did not pay our 300 rs dinner bill as we both were not in a good condition to again argue with that sweaty manager, but we haven’t done our complementary breakfast and already paid 5000 on room for such horrible experience. So won’t bother for not paying that 300 rs)

Overall: I would never recommend this place to family or couple. Just STAY AWAY from this. I mean apart from all the above issues, there is nothing else to do at that place. Just one swimming pool and nothing else. Once it is dark you cannot even stay outside as there are lots of flying insects and lightning is also not good enough to create that good vibe.
