Bougain Villa is a holiday resort. A perfect place to relax. They have different type of cottages. Some have two beds and some cater to three persons.
We had booked a set of two cottages, one cottage had two rooms with double beds and the other had a drawing room and a single bed. This single bed had an additional foldable bed. The drawing room sofas could also be used as beds for a larger group.
There was a small refrigerator and a tea kettle. Towels and bedsheets were clean.
They have a central dining hall where meals are provided in buffet system. There is no room service.
In breakfast, we were served, puri bhaji, egg bhujia, toasts jam Butter, banana and apples plus tea and coffee. The next day breakfast had poha, misal, boiled eggs, toasts butter jam with tea and coffee. You could order omelette also. In lunch, there was mixed veg, dal, chole, soup, salad, papad, one dry veg and a sweet dish. Dinner had chicken curry in addition. On Saturday, in dinner noodles and veg manchurian were served in addition to dal, rice, veg curry, chicken curry and chappati.
Evening tea had pani puri with dry snacks like biscuits, chakli, namkeen and laddus. Next day pakoras were served in place of pani puri.
You need to select your cottage carefully, as all cottages may not have a very good view. Some cottages are about a km away from the reception/dining area on a hill, these cottages have an excellent view. But if you select one of these, you will have to drive down for your meals to the main dining hall.
There is a provision for indoor and outdoor games like table tennis, carrom, cycling and swings. Boating was arranged by paying Rs 100 per...

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for the following reasons:
The executives are readily available prior to visit but once you want them to address an issue they can't be reached. Activity list provided at the time of booking is complete bogus. Either the activity gear is not available or its broken. Very pricey for a mere stay at averagely maintained Villa. They charged a lot stating the number of services and activities they'll provide. The food was good. Nothing exceptional about it though. Can't order anything special. We made a small request for simple dal/chapati for kids, wasn't provided even that. Mineral water bottles were not even provided instead water jugs with were sent to the room. The jugs weren't even cleaned properly. Cleanliness aspect of the resort was a letdown. The duvets/mattresses were stained. The room wasn't even moped /sweeped properly.
Cleanliness: 2/5 Recreational activities: 0/5 Location: 3/5 Food: 3/5
Suggestions: Save your money. Rather than staying at this place, go for a drive near/around Pasure village & dine at nearby restaurants. No point is shelling out money unnecessarily for average food and a...
Read moreOur group consisted of three senior citizen women and a 10 year old boy. We visited on a week day as the rates are little cheaper on week days than weekends. The place is about 65 kms from Kothrud. We followed the directions given by the management and slso confirmed from local villagers. The last 15 km road is in a bad condition. However, once you enter the property, you will forget all the trouble. When we arrived at 1pm we were served welcone drink and later a very delicious lunch. We stayed in a 2 BR villa that is very aesthetically designed externally and internally. The furniture and beds, linen were ultra clean- so also the two bathrooms. The villa is spacious and safe. There is natural greenery all around. The staff- Mr Ramdas, Mr Firoz, Mr Faizal were extremely polite, co-operative and made us feel at home. The food was cooked in a simple and tasty way- not oily. Our package started with welcome drink, lunch, tea, dinner and next morning tea and breakfast. Our entire stay was a bliss and unforgetful. There are activities for kids and my grand son enjoyed thoroughly. One has to plan and visit without...
