I recently enjoyed a delightful 2-night stay at Coconut Cottage Hotel & Restaurant, nestled in the heart of Dapoli. Here's a detailed review of my experience Accommodation: The rooms, albeit small, were impeccably clean and well-maintained, The simplicity of the room design added to the quaint charm of the hotel.

Property and Amenities The property is a serene oasis, beautifully designed to offer guests a peaceful respite. The highlight is undoubtedly the small pool, perfect for a refreshing dip after soaking up the sun. The lush green lawn provided a lovely spot for relaxation and unwinding. Additionally, the presence of a restaurant with ample seating and convenient parking added to the overall convenience and comfort of the stay.

Location One of the major perks of Coconut Cottage is its proximity to all the beaches in the area. Guests have easy access to the stunning coastline, allowing for strolls along the shore or adventurous water sports activities.

Dining Experience The culinary experience at Coconut Cottage exceeded my expectations. The highlight of the menu was undoubtedly the expertly prepared fish dishes. The rawa fry and kolambi fry were nothing short of delicious, bursting with flavor and freshness. Each bite was a delightful exploration of local cuisine, leaving me craving for more.

We had a pleasant stay 3 night stay at Coconut Cottage, Murud, Dapoli. The rooms though small were clean. No toiletries were provided but the bathrooms were clean and tidy. Mattress was comfortable but a bit hard. A lack of wardrobe or cupboard in the room is a noticeable miss. But the warmth and graciousness shown by the hosts, Anjali & Shashikant Tadage along with their 3 Labradors Mack, Lucy and Lily more than made up for all the shortcomings. The property has been beautifully designed with a small pool, lawn, restaurant with sitting area and parking all snugly fitted in the 12 gunthas property. Lots of fruit trees and vegetable garden adorn the perimeter. One thing to note about homestays in Konkan is the laid back style of living. Morning tea is available post 8 am and breakfast post 9:30 am. Once you come to terms with it, just sit back and enjoy the Konkan experience. Located barely 200 - 250 mtrs. from Asud naka (entry to Murud beach) towards Harnai, this home stay is bang on the main road thereby providing easy access to both Murud or your ongoing travel to Harnai, Anjarle or Kelshi. Owner Shri Shashikant and caretaker Shri Santosh are welcoming and accommodating towards your requests to ensure you are not inconvenienced.
