Ekostay Casa Zul — Hotel in Maharashtra

Had a pathetic experience with Eko Stay. This was my first experience with EKO Stay, and unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with the services provided. Compared to other brands such as Vista Villas, which deliver true value for money, my stay at EKO Stay fell far short of expectations. We paid 48k for the villa which was not even worth 30k.

Air Conditioning Issues: The AC in one of the rooms was not working. Instead of fixing it, the hall AC was shifted to the room, leaving the hall without cooling. It made us so uncomfortable ,we had to adjust in other rooms as there was no common room to sit together and chill. None of the AC remotes in the villa were working. There was no electricity for almost 3 4 hrs on both the days.

Food Quality & Pricing: The food served was of very poor quality. The paneer sabzi was sour and clearly not fresh. The hi tea item “cheese chilli toast” was served without adequate cheese and was not prepared properly. Despite this, we were charged ₹1200 per person for food, which is extremely overpriced given the quality. To make matters worse, breakfast on the checkout day was denied even if we were ready to pay for the same. There was no dessert option even given in the menu whereas Vista rooms give a lot of food items in the same rate which are freshly made in the villa.

Service & Coordination: While the caretaker of the villa Mr Lakshman was polite and helpful throughout our stay.

Overpriced Decor: We were charged 8000/- for the decor which was not at all worth the money paid for it. We were Highly disappointed on arrival looking at the decor.

The back end team of Eko stay is not helpful at all. After multiple mails and calls i never got a positive response.

We checked in at 3 pm on 6 July 2024 and checked out at 11 am on 7 July 2024. Of the 20 hours spent at the property, there was NO ELECTRICITY FOR 6 hours and BARE MINIMUM ELECTIRICTY (only fans and a few plug points operational) for 15 hours during the stay. We have functioned without AC support for the entire trip and without fans from morning 5 am till the time we checked out. This was duly raised to the inhouse caretaker (Laxman), property managers (Sanjana, Ali and Gaurav). We were stranded without any basics. As mentioned above, we had a kid, an infant and a pregnant woman with us and we were left stranded at the property WITHOUT BASIC AMENITIES OF DRINKING WATER, WATER FOR Washrooms /BATHING, and/or FANS / LIGHTS. Upon raising this to Ali, we were given absolutely rubbish and lousy responses of the disclaimer mentioned initially. The disclaimer mentions frequent powercuts, it does not mention living without power for straight 15 hours. No disclaimer can suffice the justification against what has happened here with us.

Was bit skeptical because of some reviews about the power supply and service but we never faced during our stay right from checkin to checkout everything was amazing rooms were big and clean large garden area for family get-together and beautiful pool was added advantage. The service was top notch from Laxman bhaiya if you are visiting do not forget to carry your breakfast item like Maggie and eggs Laxman bhaiya makes amazing breakfast. We even had barbeque prepared that was also mouth watering it's good to see the eko stay manager personally came to ask for feedback.

One major disappointment was the restaurant that they had tie up was pathetic roti severed was burned portion size was way too less plus they charged delivery charges for order of 3000. Do not order from that restaurant instead use zomato or Swiggy.
