Unlike the Moharli gate the Pangadi gate has very few options to stay. FOOT PRINT JUNGLE RESORT was the most amazing stay option closest to this gate. Excellent food, clean rooms and peaceful surroundings made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. There's something for people of all age groups. A variety of indoor games, a large swimming pool and a play area for the little ones makes this place a perfect place for nature enthusiastic families and couples. The owner and staff are extremely polite and co-operative. There aren't any other food options around the resort so make sure you take their all meal plan .It's worth it! Worst experience ever. We had booked this resort 20days in advance. When we reached the resort, the owner was waiting at the gate stating that the washroom comode broke down and we will not be able to withstand the smell. He was not letting us in, when we forced that we want to see the situation and decide accordingly, he got furious. Then we went inside and checked the situation, there was no such smell or anything. The owner was giving us a homestay in return which was in a horrible state. It was really the worst experience ever. The rooms were to dirty and basic amenities were missing. Even an electric kettle with tea, coffee and sugar was not there. The rooms were very badly maintained, seems like the owner never visited there. Therr were flies and cockroach every were and power was on and off.
THE POOL WAS USED BY THE PEOPLE AND CHILDREN FROM NEAR BY VILLAGE.
The paint from the walls are comming down and had a pungent smell in the room through out.
Phones provided in room did not work, rather was a show piece. No toiletries and tea coffe were provided in a resort which charged us 7.5k a day, OYO rooms provided it as basic needs.
