We 7 friends decided to go for an outing on a weekend and started searching for a 3 BHK villa and came across this villa from Airbnb. The photos looked good and the description matched all our parameters that we had check-listed, so we decided to choose this villa. The only concern was when I was told there were open bedrooms. I was a little hesitant as we had a 2 year old and his mother along. Hence before booking I spoke to the owner and he said the baby and mother will get a private room in the other villa so that they get their privacy. Only then we went ahead with the booking. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was the pool (if we can call it that) which was more looked like a jacuzzi and at best for kids only. Then we were told that we didn’t confirm that we needed a room for the baby and the mother hence the owner didn’t give us. Once we got inside the villa, no way was it a 3 BHK (very misleading from the description). As you enter on the right you see a bar with fancy lighting and a 3 seater sofa beside it with a torn cover. Then a big noisy ceiling fan and a cooler which was not switched on. No AC as per the description. There was a projector also with speakers. Then as you go further in and there is a double bed placed at the back side of the sofa (no walls nothing, it’s a bed kept in an open area) and a bathroom next to it which was the only usable bathroom for 8 people (what a nightmare!). And it was not maintained either. Hand jet spray kept on the floor - no holder, chipped tiles, geyser was not working - so no hot water as well. During monsoon time we had to do with cold water. Door making screeching noises every time you open it and ruining people's sleep in the nearby bed. The toilet area next to the pool was smelly and full of insects. Who would use that now? There is a staircase leading to a floor where they have another double bed. The place had no walls or door. The ceiling was a steel sheet with no scope for a ceiling fan. So if you plan to go in summers, think about it. We decided to let the mother and baby sleep there at night and we all went to he pool area with chairs for dinner and drinks. There were leakages happening near the so called pool side. Personal waterfall you can call it. Then we happen to find a rat running around at night. Now imagine the mental torture for anyone sleeping there knowing there is a rat around. We took the mattress from the floor above and put it in the living area (if you can so call it). For 7 of us we got 5 pillows and was asked to use the sofa cushions as pillows. And then there were 3 blankets between the 7 of us. And the sheets were smelly too. Only we know how we managed. Some of us used our towels as sheets to cover ourselves. Since we went to bed at around 2 am decided not to call the caretaker (though when we told the caretaker that we need some more sheets he got his personal ones from his house). We somehow pulled through the night. Imagine the chaos in the morning. We called the owner to tell him all this. But he conveniently blamed it on the caretaker while it was the owner’s duty to keep the inventory. The only good thing about this place in fact was the caretaker who made sure in his capacity to take care of things. From meals to whatever was needed. The owner however reduced ₹2000 from the ₹12,000 we paid for the villa and promised complimentary services next time (as if there's going to be a next time) but even then ₹10,000 was just not worth it. This place is good only for 4 people. And it’s not at all recommended for kids. If you plan to go with kids, simply avoid this.

Let me start by telling is is completely misguiding. It ain't 3BHK AC villa. Doesn't have proper bedroom more like in hall they have a double bed so its open space no privacy also the common bathroom is near it and door makes a huge cracking noise. The other so called bed room is at mezzanine floor again no door or wall. The place doesn't have AC. The mezzanine floor so called bedroom doesn't have ceiling but a tin sheet on top and a wall fan attached at one side. So trust me it ain't even proper 2BHK. We even found rat in mezzanine floor so sleeping in situation knowing rat is running around is tough. We were group of 7 people so definitely they shouldn't rent it for more than 4 to 5 people as only one bathroom, remember i spoke about near hall that makes creaking sound. The other bathroom outside isn't operational and has lots of insects. Coming to the much talked about pool its completely misleading its more look Jacuzzi tub where max 3 or 4 people can go inside, no ways its a pool. So now coming back we tried to sleep amidst the terror of rat in hearts and mind only to find out they didn't have sufficient pillows and blankets. We had to take towels instead of blankets and sleep without pillow. We did get 2K refund so final cost came around 10K but trust me this is nowhere near villa and not worth 10K. I have stayed in well furnished 4BHK villa for 15K to 20K. This was complete disappointment and misleading open bedroom which isn't mentioned, 2 double bed, no pool (completely misleading), shortage of pillow and blanket, only one operational bathroom. So do your due diligence before booking to avoid unpleasant experience. Avoid at all cost if with family or females in group.

Reaching this Place This place is not in Lonavala it is very close to Pune (Pimri Chinchwad) This has to show exact location mentioning the distance it covers from Pune & Mumbai The place is nearby from expressway once we cross the second toll on the expressway near Talegoan its hardly 10 mins from there and 5 mins once you are off from expressway There is patch of 2 mins where the roads are narrow and little off roading There is a space for 4 cars however if it rains there is water logging in the parking area and then u can only put one car inside the villa for parking Caretaker Caretaker stays nearby and helpful He cooks and gives us food however the time it takes is more hence we will have to be clear about the order and give him around 2 hours to prepare as he must get stuff from demart He refrains from cooking Fish as the quantity is less Chicken Sukka and dal tadka were good Place We had booked a villa for 13 colleagues and on the site it was mentioned 4 bedrooms Main Villa has only 2 bedroom which were open without any door and any privacy, only 1 bathroom. I wont call it a Vila actually, it was more like single living room where he placed 1 double bed and a loft where he placed another double bed When we reached the owner promised us 2 bedrooms in the opposite villa as there were 2 beds in the villa which we booked. In both of these bedrooms in the opposite villa (again this was not a villa but a studio apartment types) where bathroom were stinking, no geysers, no Acs. Checkout mentioned was 10 however when we reached there was a couple who waited till 12:15 where when we insisted to the owner and caretaker they had vacated One of the bedroom in the loft was actually bedroom cum spa as when 2 of us were sleeping in the night, rain water was dripping on them 😊 Cant get any better than that. Rooms All rooms were damped and was smelling due to moisture Beds and blankets were smelling Toilets were not clean barring the one which was best among the worst AC was not working There was only 1 Geyser out of 3 bathroom and even that was not working. We found red ants in the hall, on insisting the caretaker cleaned it in the evening and then once again we could see it We had a visitor too in the form of rat, lizard who was roaming at night in search of food Swimming pool was a big disappointment as it was a big size bathtub which they term it as a pool as 2 people could stand so forget about swimming in it The only thing we felt was the projector to be helpful to hear some music Inspite of reminding them about the towels and toiletries we had got this late at 10 in the night which was dissapoiting, not clean and had stains in it. Overall We expected the rooms to be clean inspite of we getting the rooms late We expected things to be in a workable condition however this was again a disappointment We ended up checking out early as we could not even take shower in any of the bathrooms The place we booked was for our time off work however we were all managing to find some reason to ignore the laps in the hospitality which has led to have a very bitter experience for us If we are paying a bomb for this property we expect the place to be maintained however this was...
