We had to reach Pune by Sunday and though it was a day drive from Goa, we decided to stop over at Amba Ghat to relax. The drive from Goa to Amba Ghat is superb, but for the last 10-15 kms, which have been dug up for the widening project by NHAI. Good that monsoon had set in, else the road work would have dusted the beautiful ghat. Green Meadows is at a distance after the Amba Ghat market place (coming from Goa side), which is good. Right on the highway, once widening project completes, the place would light up for sure. Desi Tadka, which is the inhouse restaurant, is facing up the highway with parking bay and a tea joint alongside. We had our dinner in room, but the restaurant is well done with colorful artwork on the wall, giving a Punjabi vibe. Glad that the rooms are on the backyard of the restaurant. That helps shield the highway noise, which wasn't much of a bother after dusk. There's a small villa, with a space of its own to sit out followed by four rooms, two in each row, facing each other. We were given the first one. Their balconies would open out to the green fields and hills at a distance, making it a good scenery. The rooms are really nice and well done. Very spacious rooms and a cozy bed. Since the property is amidst the fields (farm stay vindicated) and with monsoon in swing, we had to keep the balcony closed, not to let those crickets and other chirpy species (pretty safe though) sneak through. Everything was good, just a minor glitch in the bathroom late night made it a bit wet, but with just a night stay, we didn't bother much about it. The staff tried but it seemed to be an issue that'll take some doing, but not for the night. Dinner and breakfast were good, we had a simple one and to our liking. Ramnik, the owner of the property met us and was at the property with his family. It was nice knowing from him about the property and his plans on augmenting few options like pool in the near future. The next morning, before we left, the views towards the hills were simply a treat. The climate was perfect to relax and have a lazy stay, and we kind of did that in the previous evening. While the room had AC, they were not required at all with monsoon making it comfortably cool. Guess, we shall return once the next chance comes up and hopefully Ramnik would have done his additions and the road work by NHAI. Overall a good place to stay and relax. Short drive to the nearby spots. Best part is its away from the buzz and group stuff that other resorts and stays are focused on.

Celebrating New Year's Eve at Green meadows *'desitadka'* at post amba, was a magical escape into tranquility. Surrounded by sugarcane farms on both sides, the villas and rooms exuded rustic charm while offering luxurious comfort. The winter evening was made warm and memorable with a delightful campfire, creating a cozy ambiance that added an extra layer of joy to the celebration. The sugarcane fields, stretching as far as the eye could see, painted a serene backdrop, enhancing the beauty of the farmhouse. It was a picturesque setting that seamlessly blended nature's splendor with the well-appointed accommodations. As the night embraced the chilly air, a crackling campfire became the focal point, drawing everyone together. Under the starlit sky, we gathered around the flames, sharing laughter and stories, making the New Year's Eve uniquely special. Beyond the charming villas and the mesmerizing sugarcane landscape, the thoughtful addition of a campfire showcased the host's commitment to creating an unforgettable experience. It was a celebration that not only welcomed the new year in style but also embraced the warmth of friendship and the beauty of winter nights. In the heart of nature, amidst sugarcane whispers and the dance of flames, this farmhouse retreat became a haven of joy and connection. Prasanna mahadik

Five-Star Review for Green Meadows Amba Our stay at Green Meadows Amba was absolutely fantastic, and I can recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the most friendly and welcoming staff. Their service was top-notch throughout our entire visit, making us feel right at home. The room was nothing short of perfect—clean, spacious, and very comfortable, providing a wonderful retreat after a day of exploring. What's more, the price was incredibly affordable for the quality we received, offering amazing value for money. Green Meadows Amba is the ideal spot for a family getaway. I will definitely be recommending this place to all my friends and family. A truly five-star experience!
