Hills,Trains&Mist Lonavala : Waterfall View Villa with Pool — Hotel in Maharashtra

We booked this villa from Airbnb. The host was very generous to send us all the information about the location, things to do, options for food, contact information of the caretakers. Villa - The house is nice and spacious has 3 bedrooms in it .. loved the antique furniture in there. The beds were comfortable There are 2 balconies one facing the mountains and the other facing the road. Trains pass by often so that is a bit of disturbance but the view is amazing. There are few games kept for the guest to enjoy. I had an amazing sleep the bedsheets were clean and comfortable. There are many gaddas kept for extra guests. There is a small pool also but we didn't use it cuz of covid. Ps- we faced a bit of water problem. But it's fine the caretakers helped us thru

Location - there are stores near by but at night it's a bit of a risk to go out because it is a little secluded. Sightseeing - tungarli lake is nearby, there are some Buddhist caves.

Travel - we went by car but there are bus stops near by and a station is also near by malvali station.

Food - we ordered our lunch from suraj dhabba, it came in an hour.. the Chinese was amazing. At 10 mins from the villa you can visit other eateries .. there is sheetal dhabba and kinara dhabba as well .. We had our dinner at kinara .. the place serves amazing food it's a bit pricey but the quality and quantity is good.

Caretakers- The place was well kept by the caretakers there. Kept it very clean and neat. They also cook food so you'll can tell them...

Too much dust everywhere. Seems it has not been cleaned since a month. Sofa sets are not at all usable... too much dirty and dusty. There is tremendous water leaking from fridge. In a day 10 times i have swiped the floor, Yet water dribbling upto the room nearby.. All the belongings had to be kept scattered all around on bed and floor just bcz there isn't any table, wardrobe or clean drawer for keeping accessories. There are no wardrobe available for guests usage. Bags had to be Kept on pillow and bedding stack.. how shameful The care taker and cleaners are reluctant to clean the place and have mentioned that they are not paid for the deep clean of house.. Hence we decided to hire a cleaner to do so.. like dusting, cleaning drawers, fan, windows etc... I had been with my in-laws who are senior citizens above 70 age. They got severe dust allergy and had to be given medical aid. Complete...

Worst property ever visited. We never had such experience earlier. The photos shown on the sites are all fake. Real picture is totally different. The entrance itself was such unhygienic, unclean and damp odour in the living room. All litter & garbage was lying near the swimming pool. Swimming pool was not actually a pool it was just a tub that too with muddy water. The living room furniture was all damp with unclean chairs. The picture with stairs is shown half, actual picture was all the unused items and mess was dumped under stairs which is not shown in the image. Bedroom at base floor was having bedbugs in the mattress. Cleaning was not all done. If u see reviews on airbnb, 40+ reviews are good but we realised later that all the reviews were added by relatives and friends of the owner. The owner is very arrogant, housekeeping staff is...
