Hotel Jaltarang — Hotel in Maharashtra

Myself along with family stayed here for couple of days on 18th Jan 21 to 20 Jan 21. This is one of the best hotel in kanakavali though I belong to this place, my experience regarding cleanliness, discipline, staff attitude is simply superb. This was my second visit to Jaltarang. Mr. Ganesh manages all operations excellently and his associates like Mr. Arsenela (young and talented) are fantastic. I think Mr. Ganesh is genius and therefore shoulder more responsibilities , he is a real asset to this hotel. Rooms are specious, airy and well maintained . One can stay here with calm and no nonsense, as it is not so close to market but not so far from the city , just 1 KM from main city market. We travelled with a 1.5 year old child from US on our way to visit family in Devgad. The train reached Kankavli station late in the night and the staff was responsive to check us in quickly and take care of breakfast request that we had made for our child. The rooms are clean, reasonably well appointed for Kankavli. There was little or no noise from the road - though our room was facing the highway. There is a Phamacy (Chemist) in the same building , which was helpful. Special Kudos to the manager , Mr. Pinto who came in to ensure everything was in order even though it was morning after Christmas. There was a little bit of hassle with hot water, as we got up around 9am and most of the hot water in solar water heating tanks was consumed. The team was responsive to provide hot water in buckets. Stayed for 3 nights recently. What was impressive was the attention to cleanliness and upkeep. The hotel is built about a year back and offers complimentary basic breakfast and room service from restaurants at the ground floor. Hotel rooms are on the second floor and for seniors remember you have to climb ramp or stairs one floor before you access the lift.||The building has two banks, ATMs, Medical shop, Two restaurants(one very good veg home cook type Thali run by a Catering graduate) and two fair shops for ready mades.||In short your needs for a short stay are all available.|| These facilities are important if you come by train and stay .||The hotel arranged cars for us on hire for day trips to Kunkeshwar and Tarkarli.
