HOTEL SAFARI — Hotel in Maharashtra

Our tour was organized by Mr. Mohit, right from Nagpur pickup to drop. So we reached Nagpur by Duronto, vehicle had not reached, had to wait 30 mins for two Tavera's to reach there. We were promised both the vehicles would be with AC throughout our trip, however the drivers were reluctant in switching on the AC and even though when switched on there was no cooling, so there was problem in AC. We reached the hotel through all the heat and dust totally exhausted. Our first safari was immediately after we reached, so had to take quick lunch which was way too oily and rush for the 2 PM safari. Both the drivers were unaware of the Safari gates in Tadoba and after lots of hassle we reached the safari gate 45 mins late. Next day safari was booked around 2 hours away so we had to leave the hotel @ 3 AM. To our surprise we found that one vehicle is missing and checked with the hotel owner, he told us it maybe due to you that the driver had run away and he had anticipated something like this would happen and that's the reason he arranged an swift vehicle. So all 17 of us cramped in two vehicles left for safari completely unaware that the hotel owner had actually abused the driver and threatened him with dire consequences due to which he left immediately at midnight. All our journeys to safari's were uncomfortable. This property is in Chimur village with no easy access to any Tadoba safari's. There are way too many options available near any Tadoba gate for staying, it was our bad that we selected Safari Lodge. Owners are complete liar's, doing business for the sake of only money without any hospitality. For any probable guests reading this review please take caution, you will not find any positives...

If you come near this hotel then better book the hotel before it. That would be much cleaner and better then this. This hotel is simply GARBAGE! Everything is used and dirty from washroom to floor and cupboards and what not. Staff seems locals of the area indiscipline’s and arrogant. Utensils and tables are dirty. Mosquitos everywhere. Most unhygienic place, dirty bathroom, broken toilet seat, broken taps, dirty linen, dirty towels. When raised complaint the manager/ service boys were non considerate, and their response was that we are just employees and don't have any power to act upon.
