We traveled as a family of three with a child 2 years old. I spoke to the hotel management and they suggested I should book a Deluxe AC room which has a queen size bed and it would be ideal for the child. If you check-in directly, you are offered a 24 hour check-out facility and if you book online through any portal, you are offered a 12 noon check-in & check-out facility.

The hotel is located at Tarabai Park, which seems to be a upper class residential locality of Kolhapur. They have a tiled lawn with a bit of grass in between the tiles. This place is converted into a open air restaurant in the evening.

The room was spacious, good enough for my daughter to run around and have fun. The bathroom is also pretty big and clean. The room was very clean & stocked with basic amenities. The switch board is located on the headrest of the bed with a charging point for mobiles. You are provided with 2 complimentary bottles of water per day.

The complimentary breakfast was the high point of our visit. The menu was changing on a daily basis and the spread did have quite a variety. They had 10 breakfast items on the menu with the addition of bread butter / toast butter, cornflakes, fruits and beverages. Each dish was nicely prepared nicely and thankfully without making them too spicy, only because its Kolhapur.

They have a slide and a see-saw in the lawn outside the reception area which is an added bonus if you are travelling with small children.

The service was very nice and they was very cooperative. Small requests in terms of food for my daughter was promptly attended to and with a smile. On the day we went sight seeing, we were given a small food parcel for my daughter when we had asked for only 1 item.

All in all, our stay was very pleasant, comfortable and memorable. I am surely coming back here on my next visit...

I am visiting this hotel from last 16 years, every time I visit Kolhapur, I stay here, give them booking without checking prices elsewhere but during my recent visit, I noticed Considerable degradation in terms of Quality.

There are issues with Maintenance, lawn is not maintained. Washroom has taps not functioning properly or have some issue. Although they have Solar, we faced challenge getting hot water in the morning.

Restaurant food prices are not in sync with food quality and Quantity.

Thankfully What has not changed is the polite behavior of their staff. They are polite and helpful as always.

Below items are missing from Room amenities which is baseline nowadays in any 3-star hotel hair dryer in Washroom Charging socket in washroom Iron with Table Mini fridge - They used to provide but later removed. Wifi access codes upon check-in Welcome Drink - Most people come by road with 5-6 hours of drive, so any tea/coffee or Lime juice should be offered as Welcome gesture. Provide Newspaper to room - I remember they used to do this but later stopped, maybe cost cutting measure but these things should be reinstated

the lengthy Review is not to criticize hotel but to help hotel and tourists to take informed decision.
