Jackuline School of Thought (JSOT) — Hotel in Maharashtra

We planned one weekend at JSOT and have sort of some mixed feelings about our experience there. Located at the greenest of locations, you can feast your eyes to some of the best views of hills, lakes and small waterfalls. Since we went there during monsoon, hence the greenery was at its best!!! This place can be visited just for its location I would say. But we were a bit disappointed by the fares charged during the stay. The place doesn't also seem to be quite far away from the main city still charging very high just for plain maggi during evening snacks, our veg/non-veg starters (very basic taste and too less quantity) before dinner seemed unjustified. We had booked 2 couple domes but one was having chairs while the other one was having a small cupboard. Both domes did not have both items. So here the dome items can be planned accordingly. Since the whole idea is to have a unique experience of staying inside a dome in the lap of nature, you won't be getting attached bathrooms. The bathrooms were 20-25 steps away from the domes but I would say very clean. There were also no towel/toiletries, which I feel should have been provided at least for the monsoon. Overall, it was a unique experience but we were not able to witness the fun activities mainly for our baby which was a miss from our side. I'd love to visit once more just to experience the activities mentioned in their stay details. And the staff was so cooperative; special mention of Mr. Shankar and his wife who were so kind and empathetic enough to let us sleep in their place since our baby was frightened of the dome. So that's another point, don't visit the dome with a small baby since your own enjoyment will go for a toss 😉. Better to book the glass room if you're travelling with your baby. I recently visited JSOT Resort in Pune and I had a wonderful experience! The resort is nestled amidst lush greenery, providing a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle.

Ambiance 4/5

The resort's ambiance is tranquil and relaxing, with beautifully landscaped gardens and modern amenities. They offer two types of dome stays, one is small dome and the other is big dome and third is glass house. Both dome have different prices, small dome costs 1300 per person and big dome costs 2000 per person. Glass house cost 3000 something is there. The dome is limited and small dome is okay and bathroom is common for small dome and separate for big dome, bathroom of big dome is good. I would advise you to stay in big dome.
