We stayed at Krushna Valley View Homestay for a day and found it to be a truly peaceful and scenic getaway. The homestay offers such spectacular views of the Krishna River Valley that we didn’t feel the need to visit other sightseeing points in the area. The 180-degree valley view right from the rooms is breathtaking, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. Pros: Room Quality and Cleanliness: The rooms are immaculately clean with a strong emphasis on hygiene. The homestay has a limited number of rooms, ensuring privacy and a more intimate experience. There are 4 deluxe rooms with double beds and 4 super deluxe rooms with three beds each, all thoughtfully arranged to offer a view of the valley. Dining Options: You have the flexibility to dine in your room or outside in an open area right in front of the room, enhancing the experience of dining with a view. Homemade Food: The meals are homely and cooked over a traditional wood fire, adding an authentic, comforting touch to the food. Excellent Service: The caretakers, Aryan and Ram, are friendly, professional, and extremely helpful, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Offbeat Location: Perfect for those looking to escape the crowds and noise typical of hill stations. The homestay is surrounded by nature, with lush trees and mountains on either side, making it a tranquil retreat. Weather: During our stay, the temperature was around 25°C during the day and dropped below 15°C at night, ideal for a cozy mountain experience. Only Cons: Accessibility: The homestay is situated approximately 5 kilometers off the main Mahabaleshwar road, and the road leading up to it is a bit rough. Parking and Approach: The parking area is located a little distance from the rooms, and reaching the rooms involves a 5-7 minute walk up a steep path, which could be challenging for senior citizens. Overall Recommendation: For anyone seeking an offbeat, quiet retreat with an unbeatable view, Krushna Valley View Homestay is highly recommended. The serene environment and the panoramic valley view make it a destination in itself, far from the usual hustle of hill stations.

If you want to be in proximity with hills, river, clouds and greenery at the same time and that too while being in budget, then this is the PLACE to stay in Mahableshwar. I visited the property for my wedding anniversary celebration. My wife and parents were just awestruck to see the property and it's surroundings. The property owner (Mr. Deepak) is a humble, helpful and positive personality. He helped me in making all arrangements for celebration of the occasion (be it finding a cake shop even before arriving at the location or going to the shop from the property for picking the cake or arranging threads and scissors for hanging balloons). The sunrise from the location is picturesque. Definitely watch it. The maintenance of the property and the surrounding farms, parking, stairs and lights to reach the location is to the point. The hygiene of rooms, blankets and bedsheets is perfect. Note - Book the property by directly calling the owner.

Krushna Homestay: A Slice of Heaven on Earth Our stay at Krushna Homestay was an unforgettable experience! The Super Deluxe Rooms were incredibly spacious and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a day of exploring. The food served here was delicious, though the portions were slightly on the smaller side. What truly sets this homestay apart is the spectacular views of the valley, mountains, and river—it felt like stepping into paradise. We spent hours simply soaking in the serene beauty, feeling as though we had found heaven on earth. A delightful highlight was buying fresh, handpicked strawberries from the farm. They were irresistibly tasty and reasonably priced, making for a sweet souvenir from the trip. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with breathtaking views and a cozy vibe, Krushna Homestay is the perfect choice. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

Me and my parents hadn't been on a vacation for sometime and hence it was due. Mahabaleshwar was one place i had never visited and hence we decided to take our vacation there. I started looking out for hotels on TripAdvisor as this is one of the most trusted websites for travel reviews and I wasn't disappointed. As i scrolled through one of the links for another travel portal I found one picture of this amazing place with mesmerizing views. It was a bird's eye view overlooking an estate and right next to it, A Beautiful Valley. It was the Krushna Valley Home stay. I showed this picture to my parents and they were instantly in love with it. Thats where we were going. I booked the Krushna Valley home stay and as it turns out, it was the last of the 4 rooms they had. We got lucky!! What impressed me more was the fact that the owner of this home stay Mr Deepak Dhebe was actively replying to the guest queries on the portal where i booked the room. We contacted him as soon as we got the confirmation of our booking and he was kind enough to send us the wheres and the hows about home stay along with the picture. Right from how to reach the place including transportation(We took public transportation from Mumbai to Mahabaleshwar) & sightseeing charges to what the food menu looked like, we had it all. We reached Mahabaleshwar on the morning of the 07th in the month of June where rains still looked like a distant future and hot humid summer was a brutal reality. Having said that you could feel the temperature drop as soon as you started climbing the ghat. We reached the Mahabaleshwar ST bust depot at 0630 Hrs where we had breakfast. By the time we were done it was 0800 Hrs and check in was still 2 hrs away. We decided to call Mr Dhebe for an Early check in and he obliged. He sent us a cab for pickup(Kaali-Peeli on chargeable basis) and we were there within 20 minutes. The place is approximately 7.4 Kms from the ST bus depot and is around 300-400 Mtrs inwards from the main road which is linked by a Raw-unmade road where you can park your car and a further 100-200 Mtrs walk down the stairs to where the rooms are. But trust me when I say this..Its all worth the trouble. Once we reached we were treated by scenic views of the Krushna Valley & Dhom Dam where we spent at least 15 minutes soaking in the surroundings. Rooms are large enough to accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children below the age of 12. They provide extra mattresses if required. The room has an Air conditioner(Not that you would need to use it during Winters and Rains) and 24 hrs warm water for shower in the bathroom. We enjoyed the serenity and tranquility of the place over the next two days with good homemade food by Mr Dhebe's mother who is an Excellent chef and spectacular views of the Valley designed by God himself. I couldn't have asked for a better stay for my parents. With regards to food you can ask them to customize the spiciness of the food to your liking. We saw groups of people from other resorts visiting the place only for the delicious food. They have a helper named Ramdas who was very helpful in assisting us with our needs. The evening before our Departure, the rain gods blessed us with their thunderous presence which dropped the overall temperature by a further 5 degrees. The other 3 rooms were occupied by 3 Gujarati couples in their late 40s who enjoyed the first rains like they were children. We could see the thunder and lightning in front of our eyes as the place itself was surrounded in clouds. We couldn't have asked for a better departure experience :). All in all it was a great weekend of caring hospitality and soulful content which made it one of the best trips we ever had as a family in a long long time.||||Just a few tips to people travelling to Mahabaleshwar for the first time:-||1) Mahabaleshwar is bustling on weekends with tourists coming in from all parts of Maharashtra and Gujarat which can jam the narrow roads of Mahabaleshwar. So I would recommend you to visit the destination on Weekdays if you want to go sightseeing.||2) As mentioned in my review above, the home stay itself is approximately 300-400 Meters inwards from the main road and is linked by a unmade rocky road which tends to become muddy during rains. Hence if you are planning to visit this place during the monsoon, you may have to park your car near the main road and walk this distance inwards..not a worry if you are a group of bachelors looking for fun, but old aged people with heart issues and families with kids may find...

This homestay is perched at the edge of the mountain overlooking the valley and the lake formed by a dam.|| In the middle of the forest it's pretty isolated from the busy market and city and should be perfect if you prefer calm and are ready to overlook few inconveniences.||Pros.||1) Location: trust me you don't need to go sight seeing if you stay here. the view is pretty much same that you would get from some popular sight seeing points.||Being in middle of the forest we also managed to see some birds and animals like Indian Gaur and barking deer. (Never expected this)||Experienced one of the most beautiful sun rise in the recent times.||2) Farm stay experience: the home stay is surrounded by farm where they cultivate strawberries. during the season you can enjoy plucking strawberries and enjoy the freshness.Mulberries too are available to be plucked from the garden.||3) well done rooms : being a home stay we weren't expecting much, however were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were clean and were welldone with AC unit,TV, and a cabinet. Rooms are decent sized and can accommodate 4 pax. They did provide bath towels. They have power back up as claimed which was never tested.||Hot water for bath was available in the morning.may not be available on demand.||4) Food : Nothing fancy here, do not expect great variety, they have a simple menu but what ever was served tasted good. The food has to be ordered well in advance. on all occasions the food was served on time and without any goofups.||Must mention that the strawberry and mulberry milkshakes and juices were awesome.||5) Service : The owner himself ensures that guests are served well and takes feedback from time to time. All our requests were addressed promptly.||Cons||1) Access : the homestay is 500 mtrs. Away from the closed paved road and the access road thereafter is in poor shape.||Smaller cars won't reach the location and will have to be parked 50 mtrs away. Then onwards it's a the steep slope which would be difficult for the elderly. While my parents are in their 70s they managed it well.||The owner had given us clear idea of this challenge.||2) The partition seperating the rooms is not made of brick and mortar and hence one can easily hear their neighbours.may a bit annoying for some.||honestly I don't see any more issues other than the ones highlighted above, however there may be other smaller things like, they do not stock any cold drinks, and the nearest convenience store would be a long way away. There is no play area for kids. ||My son, once he was bored with the farm experience started playing with the Owners kids and had a great time.||Am still rating it 5 stars as the beautiful setting and location of this place and the good service makes up for all the shortcomings.||Highly...
