The experience at Limban was beyond our expectations. During these COVID times, children were longing for a vacation and break from their routine of digital classes. We finally squared off on Tadoba and Limban resort was a stand out among all the resort in Tadoba. Without any doubt in our minds and after a quick chat with Mrs Ruby over phone, we finalized our dates and completed the formalities.
We reached the resort on Sunday morning and checked in at around 12 pm. Mr Prashant who is the resort manager and Mr Reghu , the naturalist at the resort, welcomed us and gave us a brief idea about the resort and Tadoba. After a delicious lunch prepared by Chef Deepak, we set out on Jungle Trail. Mr Prashant joined us for the Jungle trail along with guides who took us into the jungle. It was a completely different experience for children who are used to concrete jungles. All of us enjoyed the trail through the jungle, across the small streams, moving through the rocks, encounter with spiders and butterfly etc. The day ended with a great dinner served at the resort.
Next day we had book for afternoon safari. Since it was our first time, Mr Reghu decided to join us for the safari. The resort people made sure that snacks, tea and juices were kept in the safari jeep so that kids are comfortable throughout the 4 hours of safari. It was a great experience with Mr Reghu helping us with taking pics and briefing us all through the safari. Though there was rain spell in between, we were lucky to sight Indian gaur, Sambar deer, spotted dear, peacock, cattle egress etc. Our Safari gypsy driver and guide Mr Meshram also traced pug marks of tiger on the wet road and tried to spot a tiger, though we were not lucky. But wildlife safari is not just about spotting tigers and we definitely had a good time.
Limban resort and their entire team definitely made our vacation a memorable one. Beautiful cottage with separate verandah to enjoy the nature, time away from phone and TV, tasty food prepared by Chef Deepak all through the day, tea time at the machaan with a beautiful view, Mr Prashant and Mr Reghu taking extra steps to make us comfortable etc were few of the many points that stand out for us.
I thank the entire team of Limban resort for giving us a great memorable trip during these COVID days. Adios till we...
Read moreMy friend and I stayed here in early May 2019 and were completely amazed by all aspects of this resort. Ronak did a great job of helping us book the room, safaris, and a driver to and from the Nagpur airport. May is the hottest month of the year but also the best month for seeing tigers, so I’d recommend going in May.
The property is a beautiful oasis with modern architecture and luxurious rooms. There is a lovely pool and pool-side area—where I loved lounging in the sun—and a fancy club house where we ate our meals, lounged, and drank chai.
The food was incredible. Every meal was included and consisted of many dishes of delicious authentic Indian food. We were served dish after dish with fresh chapati and other breads, followed by decadent desserts. We felt like royalty! The chef also cooked us one meal of Western/European food, which was tasty as well. During each meal, the chef and Akash (general manager) described each dish to us and explained how it was made.
The staff was perfect. Akash was really friendly and welcoming. He was always making sure we had everything we needed and telling us facts about Tadoba, the tigers, and the other animals in the area. The rest of the staff and chef were so kind and helpful. Our naturalist, Hanu, was truly amazing. On the safaris he pointed out and identified the birds and mammals for us and told us wildlife facts. He was very friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and overall great to have along for the safaris.
We did four safaris and saw tigers on each safari! We also saw many other types of animals. For the safaris, the Limban staff packed us meals, snacks, lemonade, and chai. The whole experience felt both wild and lavish.
I highly recommend staying at Limban and I hope to come back some day. Many thanks...

I recently had an amazing opportunity of staying at the most exquisite and luxurious jungle resort curated by the Legendary Architects Amala Sheth and Anand Bhagat for their love and passion for Nature. It was an experience beyond my wildest dreams.
Incredible hospitality by RUBY- a GEM of a person- like literally & her team, made sure that the experience was nothing less than immaculate! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine sense of hospitality and was transported to a world of unparalleled beauty and tranquility.
Nestled deep within the lush greenery of the jungle, the resort effortlessly blended with its surroundings, creating a harmonious coexistence between nature and architecture.
The accommodations were nothing short of opulence. My luxurious cottage was a sanctuary of comfort, boasting a breathtaking view of the verdant jungle. The attention to detail was impeccable, with every aspect meticulously designed to provide a seamless blend of elegance and nature. The plush furnishings, the softest linens, and the private balcony where waking up to the sounds of birds and the gentle rustle of leaves was a truly magical experience.
The food was exceptional, with a wide range of delicious options to cater to every palate and make you feel at home away from home.
I highly recommend this jungle resort to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with relaxation, adventure, and unparalleled natural beauty.
