Manas villa farmhouse — Hotel in Maharashtra

Very disappointing experience. The service was poor, and the staff was extremely arrogant—unwilling to listen or help. If you're looking to relax or enjoy a peaceful time, this is definitely not the place for you.

We asked for a sound system (speaker), but they didn't have one. The swimming pool is off-limits after 7 PM for some unknown reason. On top of that, the owners claim alcohol is not allowed—even for guests over 25—which makes no sense.

There are unnecessary restrictions on almost everything, and overall, it felt like they were doing their best to prevent us from enjoying our stay.

Be cautious before booking this place.

Thank you for your response, but unfortunately, the reasons you’ve provided are not accurate. Firstly, no one in our group fell near the pool, nor was anyone excessively consuming alcohol. If your caretaker is using these claims as an explanation, it seems more like an excuse than a genuine issue.

Regarding the sound system, we did not request it after 10 PM. As responsible citizens, we are fully aware of noise restrictions. We asked for the sound system shortly after check-in, well before the allowed hours ended.

We had planned a weekend getaway here, but it turned into one of the worst stays ever. First of all, the owner refused to provide a speaker by saying it's having some issues, Boss it's not my problem I was there for enjoyment. what shocked us was the ridiculous restriction of not allowing us to use the swimming pool at night. When we politely asked about it, the owner rudely threatened to call the police if we entered the pool after dark. Seriously? We’ve stayed at multiple villas across Pune and Maharashtra, and not a single one had such unreasonable and hostile behavior.

The worst part — this was never mentioned anywhere in the booking terms and conditions. We were deliberately kept in the dark. Our entire night was ruined. We had planned for a relaxing, fun night, and instead we ended up arguing and feeling like we were being monitored like school kids.
