We stayed here in May 2025 for one night on our way to Goa. We had booked three rooms for six people—one on the first floor and two on the third. There is no lift, so you’ll need to climb the slippery stairs carefully, especially during the rains. The hotel is set in a beautiful location, although it’s in interiors and bit difficult to find using maps. The structure itself has a charming, rustic feel. When we checked in, it started raining heavily, which made the surroundings look even more scenic. Check the video for the awesome view around the hotel. Full marks for the ambiance. As we entered, there were 2–3 dogs lounging in the lobby. Not a pleasant site to see. The biggest disappointment came when we saw our rooms—big size rooms but they had not been cleaned at all after the previous guests left. There were food stains on the tables, unmade beds, empty liquor bottles, and litter scattered around. Seriously? If you know guests are arriving, not cleaning the rooms is extremely unprofessional. That was the first red flag. One of the bathrooms had a leaking roof due to the rain, which made it all wet and slippery, the bathtub was in a terrible condition. The AC in another room wasn’t working, and to top it off, the power kept going on and off. It was incredibly frustrating to constantly call the staff to fix these issues. The cellular network was very poor and didn’t work. The food was another letdown. There is no in-house restaurant. We ordered a simple khichdi, which was also brought in from an outside restaurant. For dinner, they promised chicken thali and solkadhi but later told us the solkadhi wasn’t available. Nothing was freshly prepared onsite. There was another group of guests who went into the restaurant kitchen to cook their own meals—something we were never informed about. There was no proper restaurant staff or cook available.

Also there was no one at the reception most of the time.

That said, the staff did try their best given the circumstances. The person in charge and one young boy, in particular, handled most of the work and deserves credit for their efforts. But the owners need to pay more attention to improve things. In conclusion, I would not return here. While I understand this isn’t a big-city hotel, some basic standard facilities should be expected—especially at the prices...

One of the most money-oriented resorts I’ve ever visited. The amount I was initially quoted was different, and during payment, they forcefully asked me to pay extra without any valid explanation. I was also there for official work, but the internet connectivity were extremely poor and unstable. Not recommended...

Need to clean the Entrance & inner area, it was littered with Plastic water bottles everywhere. Sore for eyes , when the surrounding is so beautiful. Staff is less as it is occupied mostly on weekends. Management has to look into it. Areas outside room were not...

Mind refreshing getaway, and the most lively place with the essence of nature in its true form with the best food and service that can be offered. The overall experience was awesome.
