It's the best place to stay in Igatpuri. The hotel Meghdhanush Park is located close to Talegaon Dam, away from Talegaon & around 1 to 1.5 Kilometre far from Mumbai - Nashik highway. The place is isolated from City chaos, air-pollution & sound-pollution. So the stay is cool & tranquil. The location of the Hotel is unique, surrounded by mountains, close to Talegaon Lake (Dam) & picturesque. One can have a morning or evening walk around beautiful & large Talegaon Lake, as it is at stone's throw distance. One can watch scenic sun-rise & sun-set from the top floor. There are pastures in front & at rear. Always a livestock graze there to compliment the essential rustic view. Always the fresh, cold & ozon loaded (in the early morning) breezes awake, welcome & accompany you for a walk. (I never found myself tired, exhausted during my everydays' long walk here.) There are number of places to visit here. Ghatan Devi mandir, Vipassana Kendra, Camel Valley, Bhavli Dam, Bhavli Lake, Kapareshwar Mandir (Caves) etc, etc. As the Thane City is known as "Lake/Talao City", Igatpuri must be called as "Dam City". There are several Dams in Igatpuri City. Namely - Railway Dam, Nagarpalika Dam, Bhavli Dam, Vaitarana Dam & so on. There are 3/4 types of rooms to fit the requirements. Rooms are specious, attached with wash-rooms & with needed accessories. The rooms are always kept clean & tidy. Tasty & fresh veg/non-veg food is served. The staff is co-operative, prompt & polite. Notably, its proximity to Talegaon Dam adds to the charm of the location. The Hall Type room for 10 people is a unique feature, functioning as a comfortable dorm room. The host and his family were incredibly friendly, ensuring a warm welcome and assistance throughout the stay.
