Nature Trails Durshet, Khopoli — Hotel in Maharashtra

I regret to say that my recent stay at Sterling Nature Trails Khopoli was far from satisfactory. Here's a detailed breakdown of my experience:

Room Availability Confusion: I attempted to inquire about an early check-in, but the staff provided no clear answers regarding room availability before the designated check-in time of 2:00 PM.

Incomplete Activity Information: Upon arrival, crucial details about available activities were omitted. Activities like archery were not mentioned until I specifically inquired about them.

Room Problems and Communication Issues: Upon checking in, I discovered that essential room amenities such as a fridge and AC remote were missing. Additionally, the property's lack of network coverage made communication with staff challenging.

Limited Food Service and Unusual Dining Timings: The lunch service ended at an inconveniently early time of 3:00 PM, which clashed with the 2:00 PM check-in. Moreover, the absence of room service further detracted from the overall guest experience.

Lack of Clear Activity Instructions: Despite being provided with an activity plan, there was a lack of clear instructions on where to go and what to do no guide was provided Attempts to seek guidance were met with unhelpful responses.

Subpar Activity Equipment and Safety Concerns: The equipment provided for activities was of poor quality, and there was a glaring lack of safety guidance, posing potential risks to guests.

Unpleasant Pool Experience: The presence of intoxicated individuals at the pool area created discomfort for families. Furthermore, the limited pool hours restricted guests' leisure activities.

Absence of Pool Towels: Guests were not provided with towels for pool usage, which added to the inconvenience.

Poor Service and Food Quality: Extended wait times for tea and food, coupled with substandard quality, highlighted significant shortcomings in the property's hospitality standards. Additionally, the lack of differentiation in food quality between premium and dormitory guests was disappointing.

Overcharging for Basic Amenities: Guests were charged excessively for basic items such as bottled water and tea. Furthermore, the inclusion of hefty taxes further inflated the bill.

Overall, my experience at Sterling Nature Trails Khopoli left much to be desired. While the local staff demonstrated kindness and willingness to assist, the management's failure to address these issues undermines the overall guest experience. I cannot recommend this property based on my disappointing stay.

They don’t charge you per order but if you take two bottle water you have to pay two times 18% taxes on it I have paid 840 for 4 tea and 5 bisleri bottle here

While I am pleased to share my feedback about stay and look forward to visiting again if some corrections are made.

At the onset thanks for hosting me and my family for an overnight stay at Durshet Forest lodge. Ya i still believe it is a forest lodge amidst nature and i anticipated peace and tranquility in our stay.

I visited the place with my parents who are senior citizens and with my wife and teenage daughter. We stayed in 2 Executive tents. The accommodation was excellent and was equipped with all modern amenities. It was very comfortable especially for my parents. 10/10 for the accommodation.

Food and other arrangements were excellent the menu was elaborate and had multiple options either in indian, Chinese, punjabi, chicken all was well arranged and lip smacking. Of course the breakfast spread was awesome. 10/10 for Food..

Swimming pool experience was unpleasant since it was only pool available for Staycation guests and one day outing guests which resulted in crowd on the pool. I felt sorry for kiddos who were on stay but couldnot get access to pool since it was over occupied by some corporate/group.our executive tents were near the pool which caused disturbance due to people making noise along with blaring music on speakers. It was not acceptable for a forest lodge.. ☹️

The pool was overused by so many people and nobody from staff cared for it also no lifeguard was available. 2/10 for pool experience.

As the sunset and night fell upon us we were looking forward for some calm and tranquility which we expected after paying an hefty amount as part of package which was approx 4600/- pp all inclusive which normally is in Affeleunt places where customer experience is the KEY. But it was otherwise there was group of youngsters who shared approx 4 executive tents with us who just tooknover the property for a ride with blarring music and karakoe to add to our dismay. Nonetheless girls and guys we're drinking alcohol and disturbing the entire place but no staff took cognisance of the matter and allowed to go on. The guests kept going with music and karakoe till 3.00am in morning without thinking of causing disturbance to anyone. This is just unacceptable.. 😤

I have been to this property last year and it was awesome place for family and kids including senior citizens. I don't know what has changed in last year wherin i can see doors are opened for such hooligans causing disturbance and discomfort to others that too is been allowed by Sterling adventures staff.

I seriously wish the feedback shared in taken in right spirit and causes are found out for this dismay of other guests. Till such time i would not like to visit any places hosted by sterling group.

I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided during my stay. The campfire area was a cozy spot to gather with fellow adventurers and share stories under the starry night sky. The hot showers and clean restroom facilities were a welcome luxury in the midst of nature, ensuring that I never felt disconnected from comfort.
