Sterling Nature Trails:
Getting here from Kolad Getting here from Kolad is pretty simple.Just follow google maps and you will get here. The drive will be pretty good surrounded by trees and forests.
Location : The location is close to the Kundalika river and is vast property with good amenities and activities (will be specifying more on it). Covered by trees all around and complete greenery to give you a thrill. Perfect place for nature lover. The property is spaced out beautifully and provides good personal space and privacy.
Cons of Location : No network (Might be a good thing for a few people) No easy access to get general items like chips/cold drinks/alcohol/medical items)
Rooms : We had taken the Premium AC Tent and the experience was really premium. Good Tents with good comfy beds. Attached bathroom with hot water shower is available. Rooms are equipped with AC and fan and are perfectly well lit. Porch with sitting area and a table to get a glimpse of nature. The Tents are also equppied with Kettle and a good amount of coffee powder and sugar sachets The premium AC tents are placed beautifully amidst nature and privacy is upto the mark
Cons with the Room : No telephone service available If you need to order or request something you will have to take a long walk to the reception and request for the same.
Water & Food : Food was really good throughout the 2 days we stayed at the location. Food includes Breakfast ,Lunch and Dinner (Evening snacks at extra costs) Food is available in Buffet system only and will not be delivered or given to the private rooms (not so premium now huh) But on all occassions we were served different variety of items and none of the items were repeated. Quality of food is really good and we had the chance to order chicken fry and french fries which was again really awesome and value for money The water however was tasting a bit odd and obviously we had the option to order packaged drinking water.
Cons: Food is available only at their specified times and you cannot be late. Breakfast Time (8.30am-10am) Lunch Time (1pm-3pm) Dinner (8.30pm-10pm) Water tastes bad so would suggest to get your own water Also food is not provided in the rooms/porch area.
Activities :(River Rafting Excluded) Activities such as Burma bridge , Tarzan Swing , Ziplining and Kayaking are available at the property All of these activites are quite thrilling and placed beautifully, you will have to take a little walk amidst nature while visiting the different activities.
Cons : You can perform the activity only once (zipling and kayaking). They do not allow you for a second time even if there are only 6 people at the entire property. Kayaking is allowed only for half hour or less than that which i felt was too less given the people available at the property (Only 6)
River Rafting : River rafting is exclusive of the package and is available on all days and is priced at 1500Rs on Weekends and 1000Rs on Weekdays The reception is quite helpful to make arrangements for rafting( Booking and Transport) Eat Healthy and Hydrate well before you leave for rafting
Staff and Behaviour : The staff is amazing and they speak very well and softly The take care of your requests and are quite polite in nature. They are quite helpful and take good care of our needs...

Read moreThis place is a legit scam. The photos are very misleading. Extremely dirty, rude staff and unhygienic place. The whole experience for my family trip was spoilt by this place. The details below will give a gist of it: To start with, the person at the front desk (Vaibhav) is incredibly rude. He has no idea how to talk to people. Vaibhav was trying to grab hold of every opportunity to earn money. He would just throw the numbers at you. For instance, he said 125rs for tea, which was complimentary (confirmed by the other staff). Utterly random rules. We paid for 10 guests in 4 rooms. Vaibhav said we can login to wifi in only 3 devices. The activities are overly expensive, compared to other resorts in kolad. The quality is much worse. The place is in the middle of nowhere. It will take you at least 30 min drive to find at least 1 living soul. 45 mins to find the nearest restaurant or medical store. The resort has no shop or vending machine. We were stuck with no food and other essentials several times. The resort itself is more like an ill-managed college hostel. We stayed in “premium” cabins and "river view rooms". The walls were full of stains, blankets had red blood spots, and glasses had dead insects. There were used tongue cleaners in the bathrooms. Every night we would waste 1 hour trying to push 1 or the other scary insect out of our room. We had mice crawl on our bed multiple times in the night. Given that the resort is so isloated, I was hoping it will have some activity or entertainment to keep us busy. The website says there’s table tennis, but they removed it. There’s just an open ground full of cow dung that we can use. Kids play area is so dirty that we didn't dare to touch it. The food here is a joke. The guy serving food would be nose picking right next to the food. Totally killed our hunger. The food itself was rotten, uncooked and yuck. We tried it once and never dared to eat again in 3 days.
I would have left the first day if I wasn’t traveling with a...
