Paradise Inn Resort — Hotel in Maharashtra

Ok....so we were searching for some fancy places on MMT and trivago ....we read a ton of reviews for all hotels and stays and came across this one called "Treebo Trend Paradise Inn" at first we weren't sure of how this place is gonna be ...me and my wife wanted a quiet place where we could unwind while being submerged into nature....so we booked this hotel for 7 nights 8 days ....and we reached the hotel on the checking day at 5am early morning ! (Check in time is around 12pm I think) and not only did Mr Suraj Bhilare (owner of the hotel and the entire land) came to pick us up in his car ....he also let us check in immediately into our rooms ! For a very very nominal charge....that instance itself was such a big sign of relief for the days to come !! Look....it's a very neat and a clean hotel ! With an incredibly honest staff !! The staff majorly comprising of the Bhilare family who take their business and customer service VERY seriously !!! Very difficult to find such selfless people ! They are always willing to help their guests no matter what !! Words really cannot express my gratitude for Mr Suraj Bhilare and his family and staff ! Our travelling was also taken care of by Suraj ! I didn't have to rely on those money mongering taxi people of mahabaleshwar ! I mean this was probably one of THE best trips I've had with my wife to mahabaleshwar !! The hotel rooms are VERY clean ! Excellent toilet bathroom (even toiletries) beautiful powerful shower with hot water 24x7 ! My room booking included free breakfast ! I cannot describe how delicious the breakfast is at the hotel ! Yes they don't have a menu yet but the chef prepares food in request which is insane !!!! Chefs name is Mr Sunil ..a seasoned chef who is an absolute task master when it comes to cooking anything and everything !! When Mr Suraj isn't present his brother Vaibhav is there to take care of the guests and like I mentioned before they will do ANYTHING for their guests ! You normally don't find such people in Mahabaleshwar (I've been to mahabaleshwar 10 times atleast)

I also wanted to mention this particular location where the hotel is set up in Bhilar is breath taking !! I mean initially I was hoping to get a room in or near the mahabaleshwar main market ! But thank God this place is right inbetween Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar !!! Extremely peaceful,quiet , scenic , serene also Bhilar has its own beautiful weather it was very nice and cold there compared to panchgani and mahabaleshwar...I was staying there from the 28th of Dec 2021 until 4th Jan 2022 I even extended one day as I was just not ready to leave that place ! We travelled a lot everyday and visited all those sight seeing points in Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar!! But it again comes down to getting help from Mr Suraj Bhilare and his team ! Wonderful family and staff ! This wouldn't be possible without them ! We thank you sincerely Mr Suraj ! And really hope to see you again !!! With those beautiful rooms on the top floor which were not yet ready but they were sooooooo beautiful that words can't describe them !! I mean I know where I'm gonna stay whenever I visit mahabaleshwar or panchgani ! Its gonna be none other than Mr Suraj Bhilares hotel ! Thank you once again !!!

Concerns Summary:

Facility Discrepancies: Lack of amenities (intercom, kettle) as advertised. Safety issues due to no attached restaurant and a broken window panel. Attached balcony rooms are limited (only 3) Garden & passage shown in the image are all under construction in reality.

Hygiene Issues: Unhygienic bathroom conditions. Sink is stinking, no handsoap or shampoo provided, lump of hair stuck in the drainage. Non-provision of promised geyser; inconvenient hot water schedule. Insufficient towels for a family of four. (They initially suggested that no extra bed will be provided & to manage with single towel as they go by one room one towel rule) Cupboards are so filthy that you wont feel like unloading your cloths there or keep any stuff.

Staff Behavior: Receptionist displayed rudeness when approached for basic services.

Room Conditions: Furniture covered in dust and food particles. Inadequate lighting, difficulty in locating the light switch. TV can be accessed as they have not paid for any package

Safety Concerns: Broken window panel poses a safety risk, especially with construction overhead. The hinges of the doors were weak & locks were on the verge of breaking

Food Services: Unsatisfactory breakfast service, including uncooked food and unclean tea kettle. Timed breakfast availability, not before 8:30 a.m.

Decent hotel with very courteous staff and owner. The property is marketed by Treebo, and like other Treebo properties that I've used, the rooms are quite large. We had booked room category "Oak" which had a balcony attached. This is located in village of books, Bhilar in Panchgani. The facility does not have on-site restaurant but they do provide room service which is arranged from a nearby restaurant called New Sahyadri Hotel. I was told that it belongs to the same owner as the hotel and due to COVID the kitchen at the property is shut as it was not feasible to run two kitchens. The owner also said that expansion is planned and it will include an on site restaurant. Overall the hotel is value for money and the beds are large enough to accommodate two adults and one kid (ours is 9yrs old, and 5feet tall).The toilet facilities are quite adequate with hot and cold water available...
