Pawna Lake Camps — Hotel in Maharashtra

Please read detailed review on different parameters below:||||COST - I did spot booking for 6 people on 12 November 2022. They charged us Rs. 1200 per person whereas all other camps in nearby area were charging 1000 per person. When we asked why their charges are high, they said they have big area, better quality tents, bedding and food with various options in the breakfast. Later we came to know that they had charged different amounts to different people for the same package in the range of Rs. 1000 - Rs. 1300. The High charges were not worth of it at all as explained below.||||AMBIENCE - No doubt the area of this campsite is bigger as compared to the nearby camps but it was very dull. The other campsites were full of liveliness and beauty with amazing lights and decorations and good music but this camp was very dull.||||FOOD - Food was Pathetic. No taste at all. In Veg BBQ, they gave only 2 pieces of Paneer, potato, pinaple each. Potato was not properly cooked at all. For dinner, they gave Dry Potato Sabji with no taste and Paneer Sabji with thin gravy. For breakfast, there was only Poha and Tea whereas they had promised Bread Jam, Omelet, Misal Pav, Poha etc||||SERVICE - Service was the worst. Everything was very slow. They served BBQ at 9 pm, dinner at 10:30, arranged bonfire at 12:30 and live guitarist came at 1:30 am at night. Everything was delayed by 2 hours. And the owner and manager were both rude and arrogant. They didn't pay any attention to our complaints and behaved very badly with everyone. In the morning, all the guests collectively complained the owner about the bad services and high charges but still he didn't accept his mistakes. Looks like they don't have any intention to improve anything.||||LOCATION - Location of campsite is good. It's besides the lake so you get good view of the lake and the mountains||||FACILITIES - They have good numbers of toilets and change room as compared to nearby campsites. Their tents are good and clean. Sleeping Mattress were better as compared to other campsites and beddings were good too. They have lots of sport items like Archery , Badminton, Cricket stumps, bat and balls, football, carrom etc. They also have Trampoline which is good entertainment for kids. They have dedicated area for music and dance but their music system was not so good.||||Overall the cost is not worth the experience. The Food , ambiance, lighting, decoration and music is not up to the mark. Staff need to improve their attitude, be polite and provide better service to the guests. None of the guest would like to visit them again because of their pathetic service whereas the nearby campsites were full mainly because of...

We have visited here this weekend. Below is my personal review, that I observed and got served with: Food : The Starters were served at 9:30 o’clock and dinner buffet was served at 10:10 pm Quality was so so. Chicken Curry and BBQ pieces seemed to be made from the leftover chicken bought from chicken Vendor as it was missing leg pieces, lever, Feather piece, etc. Tooo Toooo Toooo much spicy and Hot (too much chilly powder). Sukha chicken was with gravy - looked funny Barbeque was good and tasty but not 100% cooked. And you will get only 3 medium sized pieces. Pakodas will be limited (6-7 pieces with chillies for one person), were tasty 5* for pakodas. Services : NO PROPER CAR PARKING in their premises. You won’t see any happy face from the owner / management, Cooking people and waiters are not at all co-operative. Toilets are not maintained. Commode flush is there but with no force at all. Muddy floor will not be cleaned till you leave. No Kayaking. No Rides No Bonefire No proper place to sit together and enjoy. Only one caromboard (Pathetic Quality) and when you ask for Carrom Powder, you will get never get it. They will put a Bhutta (corn) stall and one bhutta will be costing you 50/- rupees extra per piece. Maggy will be served at extra cost. They will say the option in front of children so that they will ask for it and you will spend money. Very less quantity of Milk is served for infants and that too at extra cost. One cup of Tea is free and Coffee is Chargeable. Shooting will be only 2 chances to shoot at per person. WHAT ELSE, I WON’T RECOMMEND IT TO ANYBODY, BETTER FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY. Positives: Tents are of good quality, Mattresses are also nice and well maintained. Shades are proper to save you from rain. Archery instruments for kids and adults are wonderful. Ample place for children to play around. Nice View in all the surroundings.
