President Cottage — Hotel in Maharashtra

We recently had dinner at President Hotel/Cottage and unfortunately, the overall experience was quite disappointing. To start with, the space available does not have any proper ambience. The overall setup feels dull and uninviting, which immediately takes away from a pleasant dining experience.

We visited with family and a few of the gentlemen in our group wished to have drinks. However, the staff refused to provide us a separate or private space for it, which was quite inconvenient and reflected poorly on their service management. Instead of trying to accommodate the guests, they were very rigid in their response.

Coming to the food, the quality was only average and definitely not worth the high prices they charge. It feels like you are paying a premium rate but receiving very ordinary dishes in return.

Additionally, the lighting inside the dining area is extremely poor. The lights are so dim that you can barely see your food properly on the plate. It creates a very uncomfortable and unpleasant atmosphere for a family dinner.

Overall, I would not recommend this place. There are much better options available nearby with better ambience, service and food quality. If you’re planning a family outing or dinner, it’s better to go somewhere else...

It is NOT as good as the photos or some other reviews here make you believe it is! We, in fact, booked a large no. of rooms for 2/3 d/n stay for a function in the family and are sorely disappointed that some of the even most basic requirements were not met.

Though the hotel layout is reasonably good, lobbies are attractively designed and room areas are spacious enough, poor maintenance made our stay very uncomfortable. There was no hot water provision in any of the rooms in this winter season and, worst, the staff and management seemed to be aware of it but did nothing to rectify or help guests.

The bathroom fittings were in poor condition in many rooms with loose or broken parts. One of the elevators was also in very poor condition... remaining unavailable for most part of our stay... requiring everyone to take stairs or take a detour through another one. Even drinking water was not provided in any of the rooms and, when guests requested, they were told that it is not included in room tariff and were told to buy it separately!

Most of the staff is also not well trained and often failed to respond in timely manner. Worst, some of them did not have basic decency & knew how to communicate with guests.

We will, of course, avoid this...

I recently stayed at Hotel President Jalgaon for my son’s wedding, and I must say, the experience exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The hotel’s staff and the owner Mr Manoj Advani were incredibly attentive and professional, ensuring that every need was met throughout our stay.

The wedding venue was absolutely stunning! The elegant décor, beautiful lighting, and spacious event area created the perfect atmosphere for such a special occasion. The attention to detail was impressive – everything was carefully arranged, and the event went off without a hitch. Our guests were equally impressed with how smooth everything went.

The rooms were luxurious and comfortable, providing a much-needed retreat after a long day of celebration. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch.

It’s clear that the hotel invests in making sure guests are well taken care of.

Overall, we had an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend Hotel President Jalgoan for any couple looking to host a wedding or for guests attending a special event.
