We 5 visited Repples Resort on 4th May 2025 at 8:30 pm. They asked us to sit. When we reached there was no customer in the hotel, In the next 10 minutes, we ordered 2 vegetables, 4 butter rotis, and 1 plain roti. Then, when we went to the washroom, the washroom was closed. After we told them, they opened the washroom after 5–10 minutes. After about 1 hour, i.e., at 9:30 pm, they brought the order to the table. Along with that, they actually gave us a only one plate individually and asked us to take roti and vegetables together on that single plate. After we requested, they gave us a separate plate for roti. After that, they did not serve us any vegetables or roti onto the plate. Then, when we started to serve ourselves onto our plates, we saw that there were only 2 rotis in it: 1 butter roti and 1 plain roti. When we pointed out that we had ordered 5 rotis, he said he would bring the remaining rotis. Later, after 10 minutes, when all the vegetables had cooled down, he brought the remaining 3 rotis. Even though we expected the remaining 3 butter rotis, he brought 2 butter rotis and 1 plain roti. When we ordered the last rice, I asked him how long maximum time it would take to get the order; and he rudely said that it would take a maximum of 10,20,30 minutes also; he could not say confirm. Finally, when we asked for Bisleri water, we told him to give us water that was not too cold and not too hot so that we could drink it. Then he rudely replied that water is like here's any water you can drink.

After taking all the orders, not a single waiter we saw anywhere in the hotel stopped by. He would immediately take our order and go back inside.

And especially if it was very crowded, we would have accepted it. We were at the hotel from 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm; we were the only customers.

Why we accept below points ? If there was no staff in the hotel, they should have told us that the hotel was closed at that time. But they asked us to sit upstairs.

Even when we were in the hotel, the washroom was closed, which opened later after we told them.

We were supposed to be given separate plates for roti and vegetables, but they gave us a single plate, and when we asked, they also said that we would eat in this. After we requested, they gave us a separate plate for roti.

They brought the first order after 1 hour.

They wanted to serve us food on plate, but they didn't give us vegetables, roti, or anything on the plate; they just brought it to the order table.

Also, when we asked for 5 rotis, they gave us 2 rotis, and then when we asked, they told us they would bring the remaining rotis. After 10 minutes, they brought 3 rotis, and those were the wrong rotis.

Overall, the service was very bad.

Seeing the service there, we understood why no customer goes...

It's better to be late than never. Late review of the ripples Resort. Though we have nice time driving around but stay at resort was the sore to the entire vacation.

Pro

  1. Nice , well maintained road to reach
  2. Car parking is spacious
  3. Room's specially 1st floor one comes with lake view.
  4. Pool is in open area but have no life gaurd or staff on duty.

Cons :

  1. Food Service: a) In-house restaurant: Entire staff are clueless and confused start from taking order to get it served. b) You order one product and they will serve another since they have no habit of keeping note of the order c) If you are giving specific instructions, need to tell the server to take note as they are into habit of mixing up (Order starters, they will serve it as main course as they don't know the difference between roasted to gravy) d) Since kitchen is in ground floor and they will make you serve on 1st it take lot of time. e) They will serve you bottled water only which is double the cost of what you can get from outside f) Multiple food options available in radius of 5km-6km wherein you can get quick served and vauthentic food g) Breakfast is not worth trying, if possible try to bring some snacks and go out to have the morning food as that service take ages to get the food from kitchen to your table.

  2. Reception is not trained a) Do check your final bill as they are into habit of adding food items you didn't consumed b) They added food items worth ₹1500 which was never served to us c) No toiletries so better to carry your own start from dental kit to towels d) They will keep insisting you to make full and advance payment before checking in.

  3. Room a) Upper Deck 1st floor room's washroom emits some weird stench, no amount of room fresheners or perfume can get that smell goes b) Resort surrounded by couple of factories (including plastic manufacturing unit) c) fluctuating electricity supply is very common and whenever that goes nearby industrial unit blow the siren so be used to it while your stay d) Keep windows closed post evening as lot of insects and flys comes by

Say by by to WiFi as it doesn't work and resort has very bare minimum mobile network coverage.

These observations were shared with reception but availed no...

This hotel will give u a feeling of "HORROR SERIAL AAHAT"||||1. Total 05 people work as staff. 01 at Reception, 01 Bell boy, 01 Cook (doubles up as Receptionist) and 02 Additional Waiter and gardener. These will be seen at all places doing multi tasking. ||||2.The Receptionist gives feeling of "Aahat ka Ramu Kaka". Dead and monotonous.||||3.Hotel has gloomy ambience and still under construction. Online pictures deceptive. ||||4.We had to switch on the restaurant's light and fan by ourselves. Restaurant has TT TABLE and Carrom Board. ||||5. Swimming pool only for kids. DEPTH 2.5FT||||6.Upper floor underconstruction. No water supply in bathroom and Mineral water in complimentary breakfast is chargable||||7. When you come here you feel as if u have come to an Under construction bulding with few decent rooms and so lonely that your own voice will echo. ||||8.Food qty good but if ur going, plz give ur order directly to the cook bec the receptionist/Waiter have minimal understanding of dishes.||||9. As per Owner: Unlimited Food means only 01 dish for Veg/head, not in Unlimited qty. Plz dnt get fooled. VERY VERY poor breakfast. No choice for Non veg in breakfast. Ull b charged for water bisleri even during lunch despite staying in hotel.||||10.No toiletries provided, No Wifi, Restuarant has no blinds or curtains. ||||11. Bathroom was clean. Best is the balcony of room.||||12.View was good. Room ceilings have not even been painted and so was restaurant ceiling. ||||HONESTLY MY WIFE WAS SCARED OF GETTING ROBBED AT NIGHT. that is the kind of ambience of this place. I was made a fool, u don't become one. Choice is urs but i would rate 1 star out of 5. BIG NO NO...

We booked Ripples Resort for a one-night stay and opted for 2 premium rooms. The rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and quite comfortable. Both deluxe and premium rooms offer the same beautiful view, the view is truly amazing. The premium rooms come with an extended balcony with chairs, perfect for sitting back and enjoying the scenery. Bathrooms were spotless and hygiene was well taken care of. There was a minor issue on the day of check-in — hot water wasn’t available across the resort due to some internal problem, but it was resolved the next morning and hot water was available by 8 AM. The resort has a swimming pool, a kids' pool, and an indoor play area with games like carrom, table tennis, etc. It’s a great setup if you're visiting with kids or friends. We also had dinner at their in-house restaurant, where we ordered paneer pulao, paneer angara with chapati, and jeera rice. The food was delicious, though the serving time was slightly slow. Room service is also available, which adds convenience. Breakfast was included in our package and it was really good! They served a nice variety — poha, dosa, uttapam with chutney and sambhar, along with bread omelette, sandwiches, and tea/coffee. Everything was fresh and tasty. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi wasn’t very stable, so we couldn’t really use it much. Overall, a pleasant and relaxing stay. Would surely consider visiting again. Note: This review reflects our experience during a short stay — services and conditions may vary at different times.

We had been to Ripples for a night, as my brother-in-law was to run for Marathon. Mr Mirchandani was always prompt to reply during the booking process. The location is wonderful. You can see the beautiful view of Panshet Backwaters. Also, this resort is surrounded by mountains on 3 sides and fourth side is the backwaters. So full marks for the location. The rooms are very big with nice balcony with sitting area for 4 - 5 people. Nicely furnished too. However the rooms are over-priced. In fact, they are not yet even completed. The paint and ceiling work is yet in progress. Also, the rooms do not have all the toiletries and amenities that are generally there in the resorts that offer similar prices. Scope of improvement there. The restaurant is very good. Located on the first floor, it gives a nice view, plus you can also dine out near the roof-top fountain. The food is good, but here too is some scope for improvement as the menu is limited and the breakfast also lacks a few items like cut fruits, which are always included in this kind of tariff. The staff is wonderful. Mr. Shiva assisted us. He was so kind and co-operative, also very attentive. All the other staff was also very courteous and always helpful. So, full marks there too. So overall, Ripples is a great place to stay and a must-visit resort near Mumbai and Pune.

It's nearly 7 odd kms ahead of Khadakwasla dam. No bad roads. After the dam roads were smooth. Property is on the main road itself. Valet parking and the staff took immediate and gud care from the start. Rooms are neat and clean just my room shower nob was broken that's why one star less. Rest nothing much to complain. Swimming pool with additional kids pool with adequate space is a fun place to be in. The view of lake directly from rooms with spacious balcony is the best plus. Sports rooms had decent games with some innovative games for kids like a mini bowling table, a wooden big maze puzzle, etc. No pool table but table tennis was in good shape. Restaurant area worth to lunch and take pictures around a fountain pool with lake view
