Saguna Baug is a beautiful place spread across 55 acres for exploring Agro-Tourism right in the heart of the city. This place is just 20 mins by autorickshaw from Neral station. We had planned a weekend getaway for my birthday here and stayed at the Premium Pond-house. It was an amazing experience. The rooms were spacious with a beautiful view of the pond. There are other options as well including Dormitory, Cottage, Rowhouse, Classic Pond-house, etc. The food is all homegrown and organic. Their meals are pure veg but if you prefer non-veg then you have to inform them in advance. Alcohol is strictly prohibited. They offer ample amount of activities. Few are included in your stay-package, rest are charged extra. Your stay-package includes agro tour, boat ride, fish farming, etc. and the paid-activities include zipline, kayaking, archery/air-rifle shooting, etc. Even if you don’t do any activities this place itself is so huge, you could just keep exploring the beautiful farmland and have an amazing time with your family and loved ones. I would definitely recommend this place. Visit with your family and friends, its worth the money you pay.

Amazing service. Breakfast was amazing tasty unlimited. Dinner was not that good seems too much home made. Home made food is something we eat daily. Me and my friends booked for camping where we booked 5 6 tents. Time 4pm to 10am Price- 1500 each There were some free activities like kayaking, bullock cart ride, boat ride, ground to play, etc. Lockers were provided with a deposit of 500 rs and once we shifted to tents we had to take our luggage. Other rides were there which were paid rides. However, timing was very limited so didn't get to explore much. Tents can be rated 3/5, everything was provided by them. Musician, and speakers etc were there to enjoy. Boozing not allowed. Couples were kept seperate from groups to avoid noise and disturbance. Families were also there with their kids. At night if your group wants to stay awake and have fun, it will be difficult as people will not allow you. Overall nice experience Recommend to visit during winters

Stayed here for a night alongwith with my wife and two kids. Locating the place is easy except the last few kms patch of roads is not in the best of the conditions. For someone coming from the hustle of city life, Saguna Baug turned out to be a place with a lot of dense greenery and the artificial ponds added to it's charm. We Stayed in their family room which we found basic but served it's purpose for a night's stay. The entire staff which is sourced locally, is extremely polite and friendly, and is also ready to help and guide you. Their veg food (non veg also available on request) gave the authentic taste of maharashtrian village food. Their activities are very well planned and managed with a guide who ensures everyone gets to see, know and also perform most of them, without too much rush. Reaching early morning by 8:00-8:30 is recommended. Will visit again for their food and staff's hospitality.

Worst experience not recommended...read details review... We visited Saguna baug from 21st to 24th April. We had opted for Premium pond house. I would appreciate few of their staff Mr.Umesh, Mr.Raj, Mr.Darshan was very cooperative & humble. Not let's talk the real review as follows:

1: I would suggest owner put a disclaimer that's it's pure veg resort, since you don't even give option for non-veg, but if you bring the raw fish from outside they will cook & give. So I had to personally went to neral market & bought prawns, handed over to Saguna baug kitchen to cook which was pathetic, full of oil & water. Wasted costly prawns.

2: We had asked for chicken which they cook on order but yet again a pathetic cooking, full of oil & water.

3: We requested for bhakri in afternoon we were blatantly denied saying that we don't cook bhakri in afternoon, Mr.Chandan you have opened an resort u have to be flexible with your menu. Mr.Mukesh one of the staff he is full of denial. U ask him anything he denys...great attitude to run ur resort.

4: Would like request Mr.Chandan the "OWNER" pls put a disclaimer that sr.citizens, disabled, people with any kind of walking issue is not allowed in resort....since all ur activities & agro farm is far away & you can't even provide a golf cart for sr.citizens. please explain how do u expect sr.citizens. to roam around in scorching heat even a person with wheel chair how can a person roam around. Absolutely senseless infrastructure. My parents were sitting inside the room for all 3days. Inspite of property been 35yrs old still if this basics can't be in this tym or given tght they I really feel pity for the owners.

5: Staying with the nature does not define that u don't even make ur roads proper, while eating lunch or dinner u expect leaves to fall straight in ur plate.

6: Roads of Saguna Baug has costed me 8k for new tyre....big hole in my pocket.

7: All the rides are are over priced, rifle shooting/archery 200, Segway 100, Zip line hardly 100mtrs line 200 rs.

8: Water pots are kept with glasses, great, but at the same time how many people drink from same glasses, glasses are kept in open & due bad roads all the dust keep on flying so it's obvious glasses do get dirty, has hygienic angle ever been tght??

9: In summer season, Mango pannah was provided great initiative, but again it was a syrup & not actual pannah made from raw mangoes, which is easily possible & cud be a grt initiative but again cost cutting.. I would suggest you can include all rides 1round for kids only included in room charges.

After all this issue I requested to meet the owner who was very much available on the property but seems like he is an ignorant person. Normally their managers or owners do come & visit the guest so that they can improve & learn from guests complain & can change accordingly if the complaint is legitimate.

I really don't think so that any of my above mentioned queries are illegitimate.

You have big property but not well maintained, my father who is 82yrs tried to walk from pond house to activity area he almost sprained his leg due to uneven surface. We have visited many agro farms, but after 35yrs of Saguna history you still have a lot of scope for basics to be provided for your guest.

Also a request do not differentiate between paid guest & overseas guests as we are paid guest & ur agro farm runs on our reviews & experience.....if owner remember he will exactly understand what I meant in terms of food I meant..

Pond house rooms are good, but again AC is only effective for the beds under the ac....it does not covers the entire room.

I had requested for bbq but same was denied stating that same is arranged during winter seasons as well. I requested bbq since the videos are shown in ur advertisement & it has not mentioned month when u provide this.

Strictly not recommended for Sr.citizens, handicapped person, not a wheel chair friendly. If your foody pls don't visit, carry spare tyres as there are fairly good chances of tyres getting puncture due to pointed huge stones,...

9.5/10 Excellent, Amazing, Unforgettable...

If you are looking for a place where you can take your kids and parents together for a short but fun-filled family trip, then Saguna Baug is the place.

An excellent Nature's-cum-Agro Park, this place brings you closer to nature and enables you to explore adventure activities, a soothing climate, a relaxing stay, greenery around, farming, exotic animals, and a slew of rides to make sure that your kids are excited and entertained throughout.

Very reasonable and pocket-friendly terrif. If you are going with a family on a relaxing trip, go for their one-and-a-half-day package. We stayed at this place on December 27-28, 2023.

Main highlights: Zipline, Go Karting, Rope Wall Climbing, Kayaking, Boating, Horse Riding, Camel Riding, Archery, Air Rifle Shooting, Fishing, Fish Farming, Buffalo Ride in the River, Swimming, Mall-Khamb Show, Magic Show, Campfire, Milking of Cows, Pottery, Bullock Cart Ride, Segways, Cycling, Exploring Exotic Reptiles, Animals (Ostrich, Emu, African Snakes), Riverside, Camping Tents, Honey Farming, Plantations, Agriculture, etc. All activities are within walking distance.

Accommodation: pocket-friendly accommodation offering you all necessary services. Clean and higenic. If you are a 10-15-member group, they also provide dormancy and pickup and drop facilities from Neral Station.

Staff: Staff working here are very humble, well mannered, soft-spoken, and helping. Guests at this place get excellent service and cooperation from the staff, irrespective of the type of accommodation (budget or luxury) they choose. Since the local villagers have been employed at the facility, they respect and worship their work. What I appreciate the most is that all their staff members are thorough with the information about the place, and even a small group of 2-3 people are also assigned a guide free of charge to ensure that guests don't miss out on anything.

Food: This place offers good, delicious, fresh vegetarian food. Selected number of items in buffet to ensure no wastage, but they serve fresh food unlimited in quantity and finger-licking in taste. Don't miss out on their Upama in breakfast and Veg Paneer, Palak Paneer, Baigan Masala with rice Bhakari, Gulab Jamun, and Dudhi Halwa in other meals. On request, they also cook non-vegetarian food (chicken, mutton, and fish), but they are chargable.

They also serve you unlimited tea and coffee right from 7 a.m. Also, you wouldn't be able to restrict yourself from having their super cool Kokum Sharbat for at least 2–3 glasses, which is complimentary.

Suggestions: More Animals can be added in the zoo. Variety in non-vegetarian food would be highly appreciated. It would definitely double up the overall experience of non-vegetarian people visiting this great place.

Veg./Non-veg Barbeque will enhance the campfire experience.

Natural Ayurvedic or herbal body massages or spas will also add to an over-all good...

First of all I would like to thanks Saguna baug and team to make such a wonderful environment.

Guides and the management has done a very good job making our tour outstanding. The arrangements are good.

Food quality and the taste is really delicious. Specially Shrikhand.

We also enjoyed bonfire. The guitarist has done a very good job. Also we enjoyed special act I.e Aadiwasi/ balya dance. They really made our night very special. We all danced along with them. Captured many unforgettable moments.

Rooms was very neat and clean. Interior was awesome. They also kept Drinking water, tea, coffe and sugar pouches inside the room.

Washroom was also very clean and with soaps, hand wash etc. In the room they kept towel toothbrush and toothpaste.

All the stay options are good and worthy but I personally like premium pond hose. It's really worthy. It has a very good view and ambience.

All the activities, farm or agro tour etc are really sefe and enjoyable. They have taken proper safety precautions.

I would also like to appreciate Mallakhamb team and coach. They have really taken lot of efforts to make us feel and enjoy the same.

All the age group can enjoy and feel the nature, know the nature and stay in the nature For example animals, birds, fishes, snakes etc.

They also kept washroom and drinking water in the premises while we enjoying our tour. Also yummy kokam sarbat is served while tour.

Visiting Saguna baug is really worthy. There are many things for which I don't have word to express but that should be experienced. If I will get a chance to visit again in future then definitely I will visit.

Hence,

I would personally recommend please do visit as it will be unforgettable experience.
