Kadambari Hotel and Restaurant — Hotel in Maihar

Had a wonderful time with all of my family folks. As it is obvious , we chose a distant location for my little wonder's Mundan@Maihar for religious reasons and i was scouting for a place where we can feel comfortable

And i must be very vocal in admitting that we all (15 of us) felt completely at home away from home. Entire complex , all 5 rooms were well equipped. Green , pretty ambiance & prompt service , what else one can expect . The best part that i must appreciate that i was not forced under time band check out timings as such & that made our stay very pleasant. The day when we were to reach , our train got delayed by 4 hours and it was real late in evening i.e. 11 pm when we arrived and to my surprise the entire staff waited for us and they did serve us a freshly made dinner in middle of night

I have been visiting places all across the country and even outside however 99% of the times i am limited by time bound services. This is exceptional way to take care of your guests. I am emotionally bound to stay there as many times as i get an opportunity to visit Sharda Maata Temple at Maihar

The hotel is the worst hotel in all the country. The staff has no ears. They will hardly listen to you. We had to go for Darshan at 6:30 AM in the morning and when we woke up at 5'o click , no water was coming. After shouting for like 5 mins someone listened and went to open water valve. We were 25 people so almost all rooms were booked by us. Not a single bathroom had working flush system. The pipelines leak all the time. If u are on an adventure trip , u can stay in this hotel coz this hotel will make u feel like u are staying at a remote location somewhere in jungle or mountain and no water or food available. But if u have come for Darshan, plz plz plz avoid this hotel at any cost. Most of this all, the manager has nothing to do with your problems. He will remain calm and stay on his seat while customers shouting. The people who have rated this hotel 5 stars , plz beware of them. They are friendly to hotel staff people. This hotel is good for nothing. The bathrooms are too stinky , even if u pour 3-4 4-5 buckets of water. They may lure customers by giving discounts and all, but if u really want good service and good rooms , plz stay away from this hotel. PLZ AVOID THIS HOTEL WHATEVER HAPPENS TO U. Worst Hotel Experience Ever – Avoid at All Costs

Review: We stayed here for just 5 hours, and those were 5 hours too many. We had to switch rooms 3 times because the hotel is in terrible condition and completely misrepresented on Booking.com and Make My Trip. • First room: The bathroom was an entire ecosystem — snails, ants, spiders, and other bugs everywhere. • Second room: The AC was broken and leaking water onto the floor. • Third room: We were told there would be no electricity all night, and unbelievably, the hotel has no backup generator.

To make it worse, they happily took our money despite these horrible conditions and refused to offer any reimbursement for this nightmare stay. The photos online are completely misleading — in reality, the place is dirty, poorly maintained, and the staff did nothing to make up for it.
