Hotel Shiv Vilas — Hotel in Mandideep

During my week-long stay in India, this hotel went above and beyond to welcome us here. When we arrived there was music playing outside and we walked into what looked like the entire hotel staff in attendance with welcoming smiles and Namaste 🙏🏿. They placed flowers around our necks gave us a drink, and placed a red dot on our heads that meant welcome. It was breathtaking! I have never seen anything like it. The lobby is very impressive and decorative. There was a pianist also playing. I want to be greeted at every hotel I stay at in this manner! Good job!! Rooms are quite good, ambient and clean washrooms.||This is my 5th stay. However this time Chef was changed very often and restaurant staff.||Quality of the Breakfast items had gone down and variety had been reduced substantially.||However Lunch and Dinner preparation was quite good.||Restaurant staff, Housekeeping are very helpful and courteous..||However to get Taxi to move around is very inconvenient when people is travelling from Chandigarh. ||Reasonable taxi tie up is required and reasonable. ||To Bhopal Airport and to go Airport cost you Rs 1000 which is not justified for 36 KM?||This is more expensive even from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.||Tourist industry must consider and ensure better facility and...

Bohot hi kharab hotel hai, service to hai hi nhi; aur khana bhi thanda dete hai.

My experience has been really bad, during breakfast half the items are not provided and the food served during dinner was stone cold.

They are under staffed as well; I had asked for a tea kettle ample of times, but it was not provided in the room (probably they don't have, but they could tell this to me; and they didn't).
