MANIPUR HOUSE — Hotel in Manipur

I would certainly recommend this place to anyone visiting Imphal, it's close to the airport, Ima market, Kangla Fort etc. The owner is a great host and has great entrepreneurial temperament. I believe he would make this place in the future with more renovation. He has made a guide on how to get around Imphal and visit places nearby. If you are a youngster and can navigate around using Google maps it would be an added advantage. Ima market is just 2km by walking. You can walk 700 metres you can get share autos to Ima market and get more share autos to various places from there. You can order food online to this place and it comes in handy. They provide you with a fast WiFi and drinking water. The owners can arrange you an auto if you do let him know in advance. Autos in Imphal charge 200-300rs for any even say 2km. That's the norm and most people rely on share auto or they rent scooters. The rooms are quite big and they did clean the rooms and toilets on a daily basis. There is a mosquitoes issue but you have a mosquitos net and the keeps you safe. It's a great budget place with a very helpful owner and a good young boy to help you if you are in need. We were on trip to 7 sisters and stayed on our visit to Manipur. The owner Mann Singh helped us in all the ways possible right from taking Inner Line Permit till getting us a vehicle our way back. The way he welcomed us and the hospitality throughout the stay was so warmth. He took care of us just like family let it be sight seeing, safety, food, comfort what not. I strongly recommend this homestay for people planning to Manipur. You don't feel that you are in some new place. The care taker Ronaldo is also helpful in all the possible ways.

Highlights

1. Rooms were very spacious and clean.
2. We have geyser, self cooking, vehicle and the highlight to keep us comfortable is the mosquito net.
3. Hospitality of the host.
4. Location is safe, calm, peaceful and close to all sight seeing places.
5. Services are excellent.

I have explored various states and North-Eastern states of India, and among the places I have visited, Manipur House has left a lasting impression on me. It is a well-maintained and clean establishment located in a peaceful and less crowded locality, around 1.5 km away from Emma Market and not too far from the airport. Although it is set back from the main road, transportation is provided. budget friendly. The restrooms and bathrooms are well-maintained and clean. Manipur House truly lives up to its reputation as reflected in online reviews. The owner and employers of MH are highly hospitable, friendly, reliable, and considerate. There is no communication issue as English and Hindi are both spoken, and food is also available at the hotel. I'll be going back to Delhi today, I would definitely come back and stay...
