We had a truly wonderful 9 day stay at Hills Abod. The location is simply stunning, surrounded by the most scenic views all around. The property is spotless, and the food is simple, wholesome, and cooked with so much love. The host went out of his way to prepare dishes that weren’t even on the menu, and the portions were always more than generous.
What made our stay truly special were the people — so genuine, warm, and ever-smiling. Belnity, Sariosstar, Pintegan, and Ibah (hope I’ve spelled the names right) were always cheerful and ready to help. The host even refused to take payment for a few clothes we had given for washing — a small gesture that spoke volumes about their kindness and hospitality.
A heartfelt mention to James the host, who went the extra mile to get us the famous Lakadong turmeric — something we’ll always remember with gratitude. To top it all, his wife paid us a visit and even surprised us with a thoughtful gift as a thank-you gesture for staying with them — such warmth and generosity truly touched our hearts.
It genuinely felt like a home away from home. James and his wife are wonderful hosts, and I can’t recommend Hills Abode enough to anyone...

I was not aware the room was your private home and hence I sat on your couch comfortably and kept my feet on your table. Also, I didn't feel like you were scolding me judging by your tone or was it? Because I took that as a lesson and apologized to you gracefully like any matured person will do. So, kindly swallow this review because it's not coming out of frustration but rather out of honesty and...
