I had the pleasure of staying at IBA Homestay in Cherrapunjee, and it was an absolute delight! This charming homestay exceeded my expectations in every way.

The owner's warm hospitality and kind behavior made me feel like I was part of the family. The facilities were top-notch, with everything I needed and more. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and beautifully decorated.

The price was incredibly reasonable, especially considering the excellent service and amenities. The homestay was immaculately clean, and the owner's attention to detail was impressive.

What truly made my stay special was the owner's kindness and generosity. They went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and happy.

We stayed here for one night. The room was very clean, which was nice, and the host was friendly enough. However, the mattress was very hard (quite common in this area). There isn’t a proper balcony to sit outside and relax.

In our opinion, the location was inconvenient for those without a vehicle, as there’s nothing to do within at least a 15-minute walk. We were also disappointed to discover that, despite the name 'homestay,' no food was provided, especially since there are no nearby restaurants. On the bright side, they did offer tea and biscuits, and while we were charged 20 rupees for one, the other two were free of charge, which was nice.

Overall, the room is a decent option if...

I have stayed this property for a day. Property is good and clean. Access to the property via road is not good. No fan and food available. Resturant serving food near location are very bad. Property owner very kind and helpful. She had given morning tea and bread. This property has great potential if food, fan and access road is improved. I would love give 5* to the owner but overall rating reduced due to other factor. If you are staying here make sure you either have you food and come or get parcel from good...
