Horrible! Inmates have better conditions in prison. Reasons: they only have hot water between 6 AM and 10 AM. This is the normal schedule, it was not an exception due to any techical difficulties or anything like that. And it wasn't hot really, it was warm. This is unacceptable (hence my above comment about prisons) it was extremly dirty in the bathroom the sink was clogged and, despite the fact that we asked them twice to fix it, they never did the furniture was falling apart and was filthy the window didn't close properly most of the employees barely spoke english. There was only one that did but we only saw him once when they called him (I don't know where from) to give us the wifi password and to give us directions for the monuments and, on top of this all, we were brutally woken up at 5 AM. We were the ony foreigners there. The other guests were an army of old women (indian) and their retainers. They all woke up at 5 AM started slamming doors and shouting at eachother on the hallway. I am not exagerating when I say they were shouting. When I went out of the room to ask them to be quiet (mimed it actually) all their doors were open, some were in their rooms, some were in the hallway and they were all souting at each other. I tried to ask them to be silent and they started shouting at me - I don't know what was said but their tone was enough to understand that they didn't care that there were two other people there that were not planning to wake up at 5 am. The shouting and the slamming of doors continued until almost 7 and the people in reception did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. All I got from them were excuses and promises (lies to be exact). Not one action, not...
Read moreThis hotel is located @ Jetpura on Dhar Mandav Road . It is nearly 6 km drive from Dargah Hazrat Sayyed Shah Nazmuddin Qalander @ Nalchha. The route is quite scenic & you will find many Baobab trees on either side of the road & many of these exotic trees which are the defining icon of African Bushland . Some of these are so voluminous that they could easily be several thousand years old.||The hotel houses a spacious car parking & a lush green lawn .||The family restaurant - Chinmay is clean & spacious . But , the food is tasteless. The waiting time is 15 - 20 min. ||The breakfast menu includes Poha & stuffed Paranthas .The Poha is served with Indori sev & lemon wedges but , tastes very bland . The paranthas lack seasoning & contain a very meager amount of stuffing. ||The Room tariff ranges from Rs 2000 for Non AC to Rs 3500 for Super Deluxe AC during the winters & is negotiation is subject to availability .||Hot water supply is available from 6AM - 10 AM .||Bonfire can be arranged @ minimal charge of Rs 100 ||The ladies washroom located near the dining area have a funny arrangement with absolute disregard for privacy. Absence of partition wall between the urinals is very embarrassing . ||This restaurant is suitable only as a pit stop & is not recommended for night stay as better options are available in the town of Mandu @ reasonable price. ||Also , this hotel is nearly 6 km away from the iconic architectural monuments of Mandu .MPTDC properties are much better suited . ||This property provides easy access to only Kakra Khoh waterfalls & Ashmadha Fossil museum which are 1.2 & 1.5 km away respectively & has found favor among...
