I have stayed in over 50+ hotels till date, but this was by far the worst experience of my life. Staying on the roadside or a footpath would have been 100 times better than this ordeal.
The issues began as soon as I arrived. The hotel, located on the second floor of a hospital, felt extremely congested. At the reception, I encountered a staff member who treated me with utter disrespect, as if I were staying for free. Upon check-in, the receptionist was blasting loud music and refused to lower the volume, even while I was speaking to him. He also ignored me while talking on two phones simultaneously. When girls arrived after me, he prioritised them over my requests.
I was assigned Room 506, where the bed linen was filthy, and the mattress had noticeable humps. I reported this issue to the receptionist, who initially dismissed my concerns. After multiple follow-ups over 30–40 minutes, he reluctantly agreed to check the room. Even then, he argued that everything was fine. Finally, after a heated discussion, he agreed to change my room, claiming he was doing me a "favor."
I was shifted to Room 201, which was an absolute nightmare. The bed linen had bloodstains, the bathroom was dirty, the window glass was missing, and the room was infested with mosquitoes. Additionally, there was no towel, no TV connection, and no functioning air conditioning. I went back to the receptionist, who was again enjoying loud music. When I mentioned the issues, he became aggressive and confrontational, acting as though he might hit me. Despite my requests, he refused to help further and continued to speak rudely in Marathi. I finally gave up and returned to the room, only to discover the landline was disconnected.
After another long wait, he gave me a dirty towel. The next morning, the geyser wasn’t working, and when I complained, another staff member brought a burnt heater stick after 10 minutes. Unable to endure this any longer, I checked out without even taking a bath.
Your hotel’s slogan may mention "Home," but my experience suggests otherwise. It should be rephrased to reflect the reality: "Not Home – Your Hotel is Hell, and Your Staff is Terrible."
I expect a response and appropriate action regarding this...
Read moreI had booked this hotel through OYO. The hotel room and washroom were clean but the wash basin was very small and difficult to use. The hotel was located at a convenient place, close to the railway station. Many eateries and shops were just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel. Apart from these pros, everything else was a con here. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were astonished at the fact that they did not provide even the most basic hotel essentials such as hand towels, bath towels, water bottles, soaps etc. We had to call the reception to get water bottles, towels and a handwash soap. When one of the staff members came to our room with this stuff, he was extremely rude. Later that day, we asked if an electric kettle could be provided. The same staff member responded in a rude manner yet again and gave us a broken and dirty kettle. The next day, we left the hotel around 1 p.m. for some work and left the keys with the receptionist who promised to get the room cleaned in 10 minutes while we were out. When we returned after 4 hours, the bed sheets were still not changed. They were just removed and kept there in the room. The used bath towels were also not replaced with new ones. We called the reception twice who just said that they're sending someone in a few minutes. After half an hour of waiting, we went to the reception and gave the staff a good earful following which one of them came, replaced the bath towels and made the bed. The staff was extremely rude, callous and lax with absolutely no regard for the customer. They also don't have a kitchen due to which we had to struggle even for tea in the morning. Absolutely regret staying here. Please take my word for it and do not make the mistake of wasting your money on this hotel. Rather break the bank and book a better hotel than go for these ones where the overall experience...
