This could be a very nice hotel. However, there are important defects (all relatively easily remedied) that detract from the experience. Specifically: The Wi-Fi is hopeless. It does not support the use of 2 devices at a time. It is constantly logging out and not automatically logging back in. The interface is extraordinarily hard to see and obscure in terms of messaging. Despite having brought this to the attention of the management many times, they did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. Indeed, I had to bring a mobile hotspot from the office in order to do work in my room. I have not seen a worse Wi-Fi in many years. This is extraordinarily given the fact that they supposedly cater to business travelers and Mumbai is one of the largest and most cosmopolitan cities in the world. Service was awful. Despite asking for teabags numerous times, I was simply brought a big pile of condiments. By the time I left, there was a mountain of coffee, which I don’t drink, sugar, which I don’t use, and artificial sweeteners, which I also don’t use. Ordering tea as part of breakfast was easy enough to do. However, it rarely came before I had to leave for the office. I think the average wait time was over 12 minutes. Avoid rooms on the front of the hotel unless you enjoy the sound of heavy honking of horns 21 hours a day. I demanded to switch my room to the quiet side of the hotel. I was told that the room would be the same price as the one I chose to vacate the front of the hotel. However, I think I was told this was just to assuage my anger; because, indeed, those rooms do cost ₹500 extra per night. So, I had to pay the difference upon leaving. Rooms are not spacious. Bed is comfortable. I will not say there is plenty of parking space in the premises, but enough.
Water spills outside bathroom while bathing. They use plastic kettle for boiling water; when asked for a stainless steel kettle, they were clueless. They only provide one litre water bottle per day. They use common gravy/ingredients for most of their dishes, so it may not be as per the ingredients mentioned in the menu.
Many a times, I observed that the staff were continuously coughing while preparing breakfast and serving dishes without covering their mouths, so food hygiene is compromised for sure. And surprisingly, they seemed to be very casual about this behaviour.
