Hotel Laxmipriya — Hotel in Odisha

While I was planning for a short vacation to a calm, quiet and clean sea beach with my family, I found the name Dagara Sea Beach in Odisha. This is the only beach in Odisha  where one can  enjoy both sunrise and sunset. Hard Beach for motor cycling, car riding and lots of red crabs on the golden sea beach are other attractions of this beach. So to enjoy all this things and see sunrise and sunset, night stay at Dagara is must. So I was searching for a good hotel at Dagara to spend a night there, but everyone discouraged me for spending night at Dagara as there is no good hotel and suggested for day trip.

But fortunately I got the contact number of Mr. Pradip Kumar Kar, the owner of Hotel Laxmipriya at Dagara. I contacted him and after series of conversation with him I booked a double bedded room in his hotel on his assurance of providing best possible accommodation and food at his hotel.

On reaching Hotel Laxmipriya I was really amazed seeing the quality of rooms and taste of the owner in furnishing each and every room for comfortable stay of guest. Apart from this I should specially mentioned the hospitality of the owner and his staff members.

The quality food provided was excellent and that too as per our specification. In dinner we ordered fried rice and country chicken kasa. The taste was no less than that of a star hotel. We really enjoyed our stay in a nice hotel at a remote village with all facilities like star rated hotels of cities. Night stay at this hotel is safe and secured.

I and my wife had been here in a deluxe room on 25.6.24 and left the place on the next day. Based on that experience, I must say that the property is very good and nicely maintained. The manager, rather all in one, Biswajit is a very gentle and nice boy always serving with smile. From wellcome at the main gate to seeing off at the time of departure Biswajit was standing at service. The room is spacious, bed is excellent, washroom is very clean. AC, 2 fans, one wordrobe, all are appearing new. Floor is very clean. There is plenty of space within the hotel compund for car parking. The hotel is about a kilometre away from the beach, motorable in 4/5 minutes only. The sea beach is vergin. So people avoiding crowd will find the place worth visiting and Laxmipriya is the best place to stay there, as of now.

Not complaint but a few suggestions:-

Place a wall clock in the room (Preferably with white dial and black needles for easy readability). Instal handrail by the side of the toilet (for senior citizens specially). Brackets in the wordrobe and door or washroom door for hanging small items will be of help to the guests. Bell system for calling someone should have been there. Although the members of staff are very nice and prompt, I feel induction of few more will improve efficiency, specially in peak season.

I stayed for one day. Rooms were neat and clean staff behaviour was also good. Food quality was also good but the price of food was very costly. They are charging cauliflower curry for 150 rupees and the prawn curry plate for same price the prawn that was made was very tight i hope the cook fried it too much. I asked for the breakfast then they told per puri for 10 rupees and for sabji aslo u have to pay additional so i had bread butter that too was 10 rupees per piece no thali or plate system. The location was approx 1km from the beach. Please revise the price of the food so many can afford. I went there according to the google ratings. They gave us room near the balcony where there is no wifi which they have mentioned and there was no wash basin inside the room it was located in balcony both the geyser and washbasin so if u are eating inside the room u have to go outside to...
