My experience hosting a groom-side marriage from January 16 to January 18 at Radhika Regency was nothing short of memorable. Here's a comprehensive review of the events and the hotel's offerings:
Event Overview: The hotel flawlessly hosted a series of events from breakfast to el carte dinner, spread across three days. The well-planned schedule included traditional ceremonies like Baradhara, Haldi, and Mehndi, providing a diverse and engaging celebration experience.
Venue Accommodations: The White House on the 2nd floor and the Mehndi Hall on the 1st floor were generously provided for our events, accommodating 125-150 people comfortably. The venues boasted ample seating, round tables, and a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring a delightful setting for our celebration.
Culinary Delights: The culinary offerings at Radhika Regency were a highlight, with top-notch quality food served during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Special mention goes to the delectable odia style khasi mankha curry served on the 16th. Although some servers exhibited signs of irritation, their politeness and quick correction were commendable.
Accommodating Management: The hotel's management was exceptionally accommodating, allowing us the freedom to manage our functions as per our comfort. They provided vendor contacts for various services and even permitted us to bring in our own vendors, adding a personal touch to our celebration.
Key Personnel: Mr. Ajit Pradhan, Manager F&B, played a pivotal role in contributing to the success of our event. His helpful nature and immense support added a layer of professionalism to the overall experience.
Accommodations and Services: The rooms, while good, could benefit from renovation, although this wasn't a significant issue given the reasonable price point. Room service was generally prompt, though there were occasional delays during rush hours.
Location and Amenities: The hotel's prime location proved advantageous, providing easy access to various amenities. However, the limited and congested parking space requires a major revamp. The L-shaped structure with a slow manually operated elevator on one side calls for more efficient elevators.
Complimentary Services: The complimentary pick-up and drop service to the railway and bus stations were a thoughtful and appreciated addition to the overall hospitality.
Recommendation: I would highly recommend Radhika Regency as a one-stop destination for hosting events with guest counts in the range of 150-200. Despite minor areas for improvement, the positive aspects, including the accommodating management, excellent food, and convenient location, make it a commendable choice for hosting memorable...

My husband visited rourkela for the first time and he really had a bad first impression due to this hotel. The front desk person name - Armita Tirkey really has some attitude problem. Trust me when I say this she rolled her very beautiful eyes with arrogance and no smile. No way she know how to behave with guests. They charged us 5000 for a room which shouldn't be more than 2.5k. First they gave us a room where the AC wasn't working and the room was very basic, no window view. Then they changed our room. We opted for deluxe room for king size bed but they gave us two mattresses on a king size bed due to which it became really uncomfortable and you just slip in between two mattresses. Second room's bathroom door was working. I noticed that late. Had I been visited with a friend or someone other than your partner. You are left with no privacy and will always have the fear of someone entering. Worst thing is when we returned to the room at night, the room was smelling odd so we called the reception for room freshner. The room service guy just rang the bell and barged in immediately without waiting for someone to open the door for them. Why am I saying this is only because as a girl I had to adjust my clothes before letting someone in. You cannot barge into a couple's room just like that. I did scold him and he was sorry for that. The lift wasn't working from our floor. We have to walk down a floor then take the lift. They had hired people to assist in parking. After we checked out our car keys were lying on their desk just like that, no body was there and we just took it and went back. Anybody else could have done so. No security in that sense. Overall it was really a bad experience, the worst infact for the amount they charged. The only good...

Extremely rude and careless attitude by the Staff. And it’s been exhibited by their Manager / In-charge Mr. Sahu and followed by his subordinated Mr. Imran all the time. Rude is also a polite word, they actually fought in high tone with their customers.
Instead of listening to the Customers, they made themselves listen to the Customers.
When we checked-in, couple of Electricity Points and Geyser weren’t functioning in the room. When we contacted the helpdesk, they were extremely casual saying that “so what, it happens”. We then got the intimation that everything has been fixed and is not working. We then said that we don’t need to move to another room since the Hotel has confirmed that things are functioning.
Next day, we ran into same problem. Got the same rude treatment and they were then stuck on points that the room change was offered, the room change was offered… We kept saying that we declined room change as they had confirmed that things were working fine but they kept arguing and misbehaving.
Moreover, they charge more than the MRP. Against the rules and the norms. A 20/- Rupees Mineral Bottle is being sold at 50 Rs/-. I gave the option that I can come and pick the bottle myself, in case they are charging this on the pre-text of service charges, but they said that it will still be sold at Rs. 50/-.
Goes without saying that it will be wasting one’s money and staying with utmost compromise...
