As per Google reviews I thought it's a very good hotel just beside sea beach. After entering here realized the condition. We couple entered here around 1 pm. Two room boys were go for their lunch. Reception's manager(?) called them several times. But the Gate Keeper is very active to attend us. He took our hand bags when we were getting down from our car. Then he brought our two luggages to reception first then to our room also. We entered our room and all our tiredness totally gone. Room has long window covered with glasses and the Bay of Bengal beautifully visible. Room and balcony was clean but the bathroom's walls are too much dirty. Next we went to restaurant for lunch and shocked. Because all tableware are made by Melamine which is very unhealthy. Normally these types of dishes are used by road side merchants. But it's can't tolerate in a renowened and expensive hotel's restaurant. I protested it strongly. But till our Check Out they continually used it. They changed only our eating plates and glasses to glassware. Restaurant Manager Mr. Pradeep is nor humble neither professional. He didn't ask for lunch or dinner menu and neither received our call. I had have to call to reception then the person received it and called him for my call. Another worst system is that the room has no Phone, but we had to call from our mobile for which we have to pay. Another disgusting matter that this hotel has no sugar substitute for a diabetic guest like me. Every time I used my personal SUGARFREE. In the current time diabetes became epidermic in India. But the management is unknown about it. Next I have to mention the two person Lakshmi and Bhagban, they're from local people. They cleaned our rooms and served our food. The experience was good. It was neither the best, nor the worst. A couple of points to be noted before you plan your next stay at Saanaira.

The Staff behaviour was good, though the General Manager was quite rude.

The bedsheets had stains on them. The washroom had a lot of issues at the royal room we stayed at. The handspray wasn't working properly neither the sink.

There is poor management throughout the resort, where people can drink and smoke anywhere. While our stay, we could also smell cigarettes all over the corridors.

A lot of services and amenities aren't available here, but that's not the worst part. The worst part is, that the staff, management, and everyone associated with it, lied to us. They've lied a lot. Just to save the authenticity/or to hide the fact that they were quite negligent about it, I guess we will never know.

The staff members were friendly and helpful, though they lie when it's required to save the Resort's reputation, but I feel that's fair too, would have been better if they would have just said the truth.

Knowing all the above-mentioned details, if you ask me, I won't be choosing Saanaira again. If you do, then I hope you have...
