Hotel Golden Anchor — Hotel in Paradeep

I visited the restaurant of Golden Anchor for a special lunch with my family. It was 1 pm when we reached there. There were no other customers. The food was served to us within 25 mins of ordering. The mutton and chicken portions were lesser when compared to the price. Just 4 pieces per plate of chicken and mutton. They had a Pakhala thali (veg) which was priced at 350 plus taxes and Pakhala thali (non veg) priced at 550 rupees plus taxes. We had ordered mixed chowmein (noodles with egg, chicken and prawns), rice, pakhala veg thali, ice cream, fruit salads, mutton Rogan josh and kadai chicken. I am staying at this place after 3 years. I opted for a club room, which has been newly renovated. The room tariff is very reasonable. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms have a stand-in shower and jacuzzi unit which is quite good. There have been large improvements in the hotel standards. There is gym on the 3rd floor. The lounge like bar has been opened which is quite enjoyable & comfortable. The food taste is great as it always has been. Though the variety in breakfast dishes has been increased, the breakfast is still lacking in some western / continental dishes. This hotel is very close to Paradip Sea Beach , Lights house, Marine aquarium,Biju Minar,Metorological department Office,Port trust high school,college etc.The hotel is very good in every sphere of its amenities like rooms, children playing area, cold & hot water , wi Fi, Bar , modern Rastuarant etc. It is nearly 2km from Paradip bus stand and market road leading to the hotel is decorated with lights and the area is completely green to avoid air pollution .
