Pranaav Beach Resort — Hotel in Puducherry

Firstly, this is not your typical "resort" but that is what I liked about it. You get absolute peace, solitude and valuable time for yourself. This property is a massive private compound with a G+2 building that comes with a spacious room at each floor, and a balcony on the first and second floor overlooking the sea. The bed and linen were quite clean, tidy and comfortable. The balcony is quite spacious and has a large swing. Lovely space to spend time. Actually, I spent most of my time in the balcony. Breakfast is complementary and was wonderful. Food in general tastes as home-made food. Dining out is an option but need to go quite some distance to reach the main road. Advisable to get it from the property's kitchen, they make wonderful food, reasonably priced. Since the property is off the main road, it is better to carry stuff you may like/need. The room has a refrigerator. The beach can be accessed from the property's gate, but the shore was bit littered with plastics as this is a public beach. However, unlike the usual ones, there were far less people, and has a long, free coast line to take a stroll. Saw few people taking a dip in the evening and morning. Portable wifi from Airtel was available in the room. I didn't try it as I had my own internet though the network was bit choppy (Jio). There are some coconut trees outside the compound along the beach. Some people may find it blocking the view (from the first floor) but I found it a nice addition to the scene. Since I booked it in the last minute and through Makemytrip, I found it bit pricey. Also, I was travelling solo. If you book early and are taking family or friends along, perhaps you would find it...

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The receptionists were really helpful and friendly. Great staff who knew how to serve and treat the guest. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent.

From the balcony, we could view the sea and feel the cool breeze. The location of our room was absolutely perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort, we just need to cross the road and there is a direct path leading to the beach. It felt like a private beach, very clean and clear water, a very good place to relax and chill. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing. I must say the location of the resort is at best place to enjoy with your family and friends. The owner of the resort is very kind. The had provided us with many equipments and stuffs we needed there. This looks like a normal resort but it isn't. You would get all the facilities of 5 star resort here.

The worst beach resort I have ever visited. Booked a sea view room for Rs 6311. When reached the resort with my wife (who is suffering from nerve related disease) I found with utter surprise that I have to go to my alloted room in 2nd floor with a spiral iron stair....as the resort has no normal stair!!! My wife could not reach the 2nd floor room. And we have to leave the resort at that moment. Would request the hotel authority to furnish all these information with photos in website. Would also request them to refund my money if they are truly honest.

you talked about informing my issues to your staff.I am sorry to say that you do not even bother to put a help desk in your resort. Your staff are simply local illiterate people who do not understand any languages other than their own. They do not even show the courtesy to take the guest to the alloted room. Their duty is to simply hand over the key. There is no register to enter the guest details or to check the idetity. Is these are the norms for running a resort ?
