RK RESORTS — Hotel in Puducherry

Well, in simple terms it was a blissful experience. We arrived at RK Resorts with zero expectations. we were thinking about what are our plans for visiting temples, beach and of course party. Day 1: We entered the resort & met Mr. Venkatesh, who showed us our rooms. The rooms were pristine. He asked us to meet Mr Ramakrishnan (RK) who owns the resort. We met him by his desk, I should say, a very polite man with simple policy in mind is to keep guest feel at home. Since it was late in the evening, he gave us a 24 hr food delivery chain number & we happily ordered our dinner. The day ended with bit of liquor and food. Day 2: We were called in the morning to have breakfast. 3 main elements of south Indian dish invited us Idly-Vada, Dhosa-chutney-sambar, Poori-kizhangu, along with an aromatic coffee. We were suggested to visit Thirunalar temple around 10.00 AM, We were aware that going to this temple on a typical Saturday is tough, as it will be flooded with Devotees,but miraculously the temple had lean crowd and we finished our dharshan in just 40 - 45 mins, that is followed with Karaikal Ammayar temple. We were there for lunch at the report. A full course lunch was waiting, with FISH of 5 types. All our stomachs expanded out of proportions, which is natural.. In the evening Mr. Rk told us to be ready for barbecue. He arrive at 6.pm with home marinated chicken and raw potatoes, he then set those veg & chicken barbecue himself and spent time with us upto 10PM. Day 3: Mr Rk woke us up by 7 AM and asked us to come to the beach. We went to the beach with our limited navigation failures. He then showed us the man made small cliff with huge rocks, over which , you can actually get closer to the sea waves. The moment of blissful silence, just you hear the sea water splashing the shore and wonderful view of sun rise. We then headed back to the resort and as usual had a wonderful breakfast. We started packing to head back to Chennai. Key things that we carried back: A smiling face that traveled with us over the course of our stay Thanks Mr RK. I had a truly wonderful stay at this resort! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, always making sure I felt comfortable. The property itself is beautifully maintained – lush greenery, clean surroundings, and a peaceful atmosphere that immediately makes you feel relaxed.

The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with all modern amenities. I especially loved the comfortable bed and the scenic view from the balcony. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, keeping everything fresh and tidy.

The food was another highlight – a great variety of dishes with both local and international options, all delicious and freshly prepared. The breakfast spread was especially impressive.

The pool and recreational facilities were well-kept, and I appreciated the little details like poolside service and cozy lounging areas. The beach access (if applicable) was a huge bonus, perfect for unwinding in a serene environment.
