Ginger Garlic Chandigarh — Hotel in Punjab

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Ginger Garlic Homestay in Chandigarh and would like to share my positive experience.

The location is highly convenient, especially for travelers, as it is situated close to the airport. The property is well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, with all guest rooms located on the first floor and easily accessible via a lift.

The room I stayed in was spacious, immaculately clean. The linen and bedsheets were spotless, and the washroom and shower facilities were excellent, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic stay.

The room tariff was ₹2,000 (net), excluding breakfast, which I found to be quite reasonable for the amenities offered. The homestay also provides the option to order freshly prepared home-style meals, which were both delicious and satisfying.

What truly stood out was the warmth and hospitality of the property owner and the staff. They were friendly, helpful and always attentive to guest needs. I had requested a late checkout, and the owner graciously accommodated my request, which I sincerely appreciated.

When I first saw the name Ginger Garlic, I couldn’t help but giggle—it almost felt like a playful jab at the Ginger hotel chain. But curiosity (and the location) got the better of me, and I booked it for a one-night stay, mainly because some family members had an early morning flight and the property is just a 7–8-minute drive from the airport.

I was genuinely surprised—in the best way possible. The property was exceptionally clean, and the rooms were spacious and well-kept. For the price, the attention to detail and upkeep really stood out.The owner probably lives there and personally comes and says goodbye.

And the breakfast? The parathas were absolutely on point—fresh, well-made, and satisfying.

All in all, a great value stay. Kudos to the team for maintaining such high standards. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stop near the airport.
